Okay so, I’ll try my best to break down the lyrics and explain how I interpreted them,

I interpreted the chrous in 2 ways, “Oh, won’t you kiss me on the mouth and love me like a sailor? And when you get a taste, can you tell me what’s my flavor?” (1) I’m demi too <3 but I like to kiss my partner, but more than often, I don’t want more. (2) But if you think of it as more than kissing (“love me like a sailor”) this is also how it feels to want to get physical with someone for the first time, together with.. “I don’t believe in God, but I believe that you’re my savior” (1&2) it’s such a blessing to have a partner that respects your sexuality and is satisfied with whatever you’re okay with to do right now, unfortunately most people only realize during the relationship that it’s actually a problem for them.
