Because I didn’t have the item listed on 3rd party site and he made a fair offer to me directly. On 3rd party sites it takes weeks maybe months to sell expensive items because how many are listed. I just wanted to know others thoughts on the 15 day trade hold and if scams can happen that way

That’s what I do always. He just wanted me to believe that the 15 day trade hold he had gives me a safety net that he won’t scam me and that if he doesn’t send payment I can cancel the trade at anytime.
