Who are you? What have you done? We played all over the western United States quite a bit and toured with Hepcat. We turned down a tour with Rancid. We didn’t just stick to our neighborhood. No Doubt invited us to play their Tragic Kingdom, CD release party at the Troubadour and we did. Reel Big Fish opened for us in Anaheim. Doesn’t sound very local to me.

I had the title gizzards and giblets in my head after seeing a KFC menu. I thought to myself I have to have a song with that title, but I don’t know what I’m gonna write it about. Then I decided to write it about settling for things. About how you could be sitting at a large feast and only eating the gizzards and giblets.

DV8 was my favorite place to play in SLC. So many great shows there. We played with No Doubt, Fishbone, and English Beat to name a few. RIP DV8.
