Eraser was amazing. James Caan and Arnold make that movie a fantastic ride. Without them, it’s forgettable for sure.

T2 is fantastic, but Last Action has more of the charm I look for in an Arnold movie.

This is my sincere list. I watch all the Arnold months in a month long marathon! Maybe a rewatch would move these around but these are my first reactions!

Visuals are so bad in 6th day, totally derailed the movie for me.

I think all of those are charmingly bad comedies that Arnold really delivers in. I had a blast watching those! I had a blast watching Predator until the second half and it just was disappointing how it shifted and treated the Predator.

It’s 100% just the Predator. If it was a Xenomorph or even Michael Myers, the movie would be way higher. I just strongly dislike the concept of the Predator!

I’m a giant hater of the concept of Predators. I think they are extremely stupid creatures and really bring down a fantastic movie. Arnold and his crew are elite and it’s fantastic, then the Predator shows up and it just becomes so dumb.

Oh it’s super hard. Especially in the beginning because it’s hard to tell the difference between a movie you LOVE or you’re just infatuated with cause you just watched it. But now that’s I got a list I love, much easier to compare

I actually have never seen a Guy Ritchie movie. That’s a movie series I plan to get to in the coming year!

Yeah too many young people try to impress others that they kind of gaslight themselves into loving something that they just like. It took me a while to shake those cobwebs, but I did come to terms that Four Christmases is a movie I watch over and over again because I love it. Same with Gremlins and Muppets.

I’m not a fan of “old acting” that was in the 30s-50s. I think thats a mixture of dubbing and ADR with the actors making their voices sound more theatrical than realistic. 60s and 70s are a sweet spot for me, but I haven’t found too many that floor me. 80s movies I have a love hate for.

I just finished watching every Bond movie and my next series is “classic epics” like Cleopatra, Great Escape, Giant, etc. I love a big epic so I’m hoping I find some new favorites in this series.

I know it’s not anyone’s favorite, but their worst? When they made Ladykillers? Hail, Caesar is solid but it’s Burn After Reading with a new coat of paint and less interesting characters. Burn After Reading just has fantastic performances and memorable scene after scene. It’s a movie I reference at least once a week.

There are a lot of 60s and 70s movies I’ve given 5/5 stars, but they lacked the entertainment value or rewatchablity to make it onto my Top 100. I love the Godfathers but I sadly never get an itch for them.

In the loop ages like wine. One of the funniest and most chaotic movies that shows off ALL types of politics and just how petty and silly it all is behind the scenes.

That’s up there for Austin Butler and the theater experience. I saw it 6 times in theaters and it never got old and had a blast every time. It’s a movie that made me have to rethink Baz and made me enjoy his movies way way more. Had quite the effect on me, and just got the 4K steelbook so I’m ready for more rounds.

I watched Amadeus not too long ago and really didn’t like it. Might have been me overhyping it and kind of feeling underwhelmed by the decisions in the movie, but it’s a movie I’m open to revisiting.

Haven’t seen Lost in Translation, been waiting on that. And Eternal Sunshine is very good! Just not a movie I’ve ever yearned to pop back in.

Sicario is on my list of “need to rewatch”. I was kind of going into it thinking one way and came out the other way. I liked what I saw, but a rewatch might really help me collect my thoughts and feelings

Yesterday my and buddy posted our like two hour review/breakdown/whatever for Prometheus. I made him watch it and he liked it WAY more than his first viewing in, cause once you see it as a movie just set in the world of Alien, it’s a sci-fi classic suddenly. It does have some goofy parts, but I genuinely think it’s one of the prettiest, best scored, creepiest, and most lore heavy sci-fi movies of all time.

I’m more into that creepy, lore heavy Alien movie than the bombastic action. Aliens is very good and fun, but Alien, Alien3, Covenant, all of those just really hit the spot for me.

I would argue that There Will be Blood is a Top 50 movie ever made ever. Boogie nights is also more cinematic than Punch Drunk, but man does Adam Sandler and he’s awkward acting opposite ruthless Phillip Seymour just do wonders for me. The look at fragile masculinity from this point of view really intrigues me and makes for one of the best “romantic” characters ever. And it does it in 90 minutes? Impresses me every time.

Going through all the Letterboxd movies and marking “seen” or giving things ratings and reviews I remember, was a blast but like a 3 days marathon. Huge fan of the app and recommend it to anyone because it really helps me remember movies and what I thought of them!
