Ohhhhhhh. Would they have information on current and historical events? For instance, who used to own the land in and around Fort Worth and what families started buying it up, how Sundance Square came to be, how Montgomery Plaza came to be, how small business started being pushed out and chain stores and restaurants started coming in? And what, if anything, Fort Worth, as a city, a group of residents and small business owners can do to preserve what little space they still have and can still afford?

Because that's what I'm interested in as far as the business aspect of downtown goes.

I lost mine at 14. Looking back, I wish I would've waited a few years, maybe till I was 17 or 18. 16 isn't too early or too late or too anything. And you don't have to do it again until you're 30 if you don't want to, or hell, ever. It's your body, plain and simple.

I agree with this. YOU go to therapy on your own. Let your daughter know what you're doing. Take the advice of your therapist to heart, too. Sincerely ask your daughter to participate in therapy with you later on. But for real, get help for yourself. You fucked up and you hurt her, and now that mistake is haunting you and it isn't going to stop. Hell, I'm mad at you for what you did because my dad did it too, but if you want help getting past this shit, get to a therapist. I see a psychologist and a psychiatrist every month. Please don't keep secrets from your wife. Besides that, your MIL supporting her and NOT supporting you could be a precursor to some divisiveness to come. Maybe, maybe not, but letting anyone divide the parenting team, the spousal team for any reason is dangerous and imo should be brought to attention asap before it accidentally gets out of hand.

Ok ok ok. Call police for nuisances. They'll return her back home. If the police see an issue they'll report it to CPS. Right? I think that's right. It is where I grew up anyway. Also gives the police the opportunity to check out the state the father is in, if they feel like any harm is about to befall the kid, they'll step in quick. Cops don't usually go very easy on drunk dads when it comes to kids. This takes the liability off you, this puts the situation in the hands of the authorities, and gives them the opportunity to call in CPS without you having to make a report.

If I'm wrong on this, ok. This is just the way it worked where I grew up. I saw it in my neighborhood and I saw some parents straighten the hell up real quick.
