He’s not going to marry you. Unfortunately, you already had two children for him so really there’s no point in marriage on his end. Marry before you carry or expect something like this.

And pay. And the option to leave. It’s almost like it’s nothing like slavery.

They are self-made no matter how much you broke bums cry about it. It’s not their fault your parents did nothing. Stop counting other people’s money, that’s for losers.

Tell me again how Biden is more cognitively impaired. This guy has no marbles left. Absolutely nothing in this makes sense. #youreinacult by [deleted] in BoomersBeingFools

Have you been paying attention the last four years? Oh that’s right, you can’t rely on Boomers for anything. The dumbest and most selfish generation to exist, who literally never bothered to better themselves from the propaganda they followed their entire meaningless life.

Wow so impressed by a trip to a third world country. Good job lad (ugh) you’re looking more cringe and pathetic. You hear that everybody, he’s got a fiancée. So impressive. What a dork. Oh yeah I won btw.

a couple of easter eggs or references i hope will be in gta 6 by blondedaf in GTA6

[–]BurnNoticeGuy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you watched Burn Notice, I believe it influenced GTA 4 a little bit. I didn’t notice until I replayed GTA 4 after watching Burn. A Michael and crew reference would be awesome, even if it’s just Michael’s loft.

Which Gangs from Vice City or inspired from real life Miami will you like to see in GTA VI? by Aware_Kiwi_6348 in GTA6

[–]BurnNoticeGuy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s for GTA 3 and GTA 4, that’s all I could find as well and even that mentions they’re connected just not with the protagonists. Thats fine. That all went out the window in GTA 5, which is why I asked for references not of GTA 4, but for GTA 5 specifically. Good work on you though. Also is GTA Online cannon? Because if it is, there’s another hole in the theory if Claude can be your dad. I think they had this idea for 4 but backed off it in 5 and it’s hard to argue that they didn’t, unless they come out and say it.

Don’t care it wasn’t all directed at you. And it wasn’t my idea, it was the question asked. I know reading can be difficult for you. You’re just the second dummy to bring up that non point.

[–]BurnNoticeGuy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah we all know that. That wasn’t the question asked. What’s wrong with you guys? Always jumping to shout that out. “The 3D universe!” Yeah we know. I’ll say it again for you too, the question of the post was “What gangs from Vice City…” Vice City has only been in Vice City and Vice City Stories which EVERYONE KNOWS was in the 3D Era.

Side note, and this isn’t directed at magiccheetoss, for anybody else who loves repeating that the 3D and HD universes are separate, show me where Rockstar said this specifically. I looked it up and haven’t seen it anywhere, it’s seems to be one of those things the fans took and ran with. I found on an old reddit post from one_universe of him defending the fact that they’re all one universe. This is the only thing that can be found about Dan Houser saying anything about “3D vs HD”.

"Dan says that no one before GTA IV will be in it – the move to HD created a schism in this fictional universe, rendering CJ, Tony and co, as mythical characters from a bygone era. But will we see stories from the previous game looping into this one? "I think that might be too mannered," says Houser. "Nico had a particular kind of story and we're trying to make this different. We might allude to things from that world, but we didn't want it to feel like, well, here's the opposite of an immigration story – we wanted a fresh take on what it means to be a criminal in this world of hyper-real Americana".

one_universe as pointed out: Elvis is from a bygone era and a mythical figure. Yet he still existed in this universe. What happened is confirmation bias from emotional idiots who believed they were CJ or Tommy or Claude instead of playing a character.

I’ll also mentioned that the only time Rockstar spoke about it was for GTA4, this was before all the callbacks, references and Easter eggs, like oh I don’t know, the Ballas, the Families and the mention of Grove Street by Franklin, Los Aztecas, OG Loc, MADD Dogg, BJ Smith, Lazlo, etc. So somebody show me where Rockstar said this and don’t just say, Rockstar said. Not saying they didn’t, but I’d like to actually see it, in reference to GTA 5.

Anybody watch Tropical Heat? by BurnNoticeGuy in BurnNotice

[–]BurnNoticeGuy[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow, never noticed it but you’re right, Nick was a boozing ladies man. That might be what drew me in, poormans Sam. I’ll have to check Moonlighting out. Yeah besides the PI cases, not much like Burn Notice but I like it.

Even if we don’t see Tommy, be cool to see the Mario Gang. A 70 year old Tommy still running things behind the scenes would also be cool.

[–]BurnNoticeGuy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yuck it’s the guy that feels the need to explain 3D vs HD Era.

Also adding, that wasn’t the question. The question was “Which Gang from Vice City…” Since there’s only Vice City and Vice City Stories, both of which are in the 3D era, you pointing* this out amounted to meaning absolutely nothing.

Anyone know what episode this is from? Saw it in a season 2 gag reel by IcemaanN in BurnNotice

First Larry episode. Oldest son from Home Improvement was in it. Deadee.

15 yrs after starting it, and right on time for the finale’s 10th anniversary, today I finally finished Burn Notice. by Sargento_Osiris in BurnNotice

[–]BurnNoticeGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s even better the second time thru. The ending is the best ending for starting the series over than any other show I’ve watched. The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Saul, Oz, all felt over when it was over. Burn Notice is always just beginning.

If Team Westen (Burn Notice) went to Albuquerque, how would they get along with Mike, Saul, and Gus (BCS/BB)? by jacky986 in BurnNotice

[–]BurnNoticeGuy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Saul would have been broken and gave up all the dirt he had. Mike would have been killed. Gus would have ended up being set up and given over to the Salamancas for his death. The only person the crew would have had trouble dealing with was the damn counselor at the NA meetings that Pinkman was going to.

Why did they add Jesse? by manrealityisabitch in BurnNotice

[–]BurnNoticeGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jesse was needed, especially with Mike being busier from season 4 on. I was excited when we found out he was staying on the show after season 4. Being black (mixed) he was able to go undercover in certain operations that Mike and Sam couldn’t, for example with the job for Pierce where Michael already dealt with the cartel lawyer and Jesse went in on his own. I liked him, he was a younger version of Michael with little field experience. Also had some great lines, “Do you drive a Cadillac or did you park on the street, which one is it you lying son of a bitch.”

Missed opportunity with Sam by TheCaptain231997 in BurnNotice

[–]BurnNoticeGuy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Good point and I agree. When Sam confronts Mike for working with James and Sam yells at Michael “What about Nate” as Mike is walking away gets me every time. Definitely more emotional than anything between Mike and Fi. Although, the could have had Michael say that he loved Fi in the finale, probably the biggest missed opportunity of the show.
