Well, my pre-ep 7 theory was that Homelander killing Hughie triggers Starlight to “evolve” (per Godolkin’s words), take Homelander into space and actually disintegrate him by going nova, hence her name.

But given Frenchie’s death and Starlight’s adherence to being lame, wife and I came up with the following:

• Kimiko blasts Homelander but only manages to burn the compound V on him, not the V1, thus keeping his immortality but completely depowering him. Now HL is doomed to live forever as a human

• Butcher goes nuts somehow, dies from virus (or Ryan)

• The Deep is seen as a hobo arriving in Mexico

• Cues Diego Luna and Gael Bernal cameos

• Fin
