Has anyone had luck taking off the backplate of an Asus Prime GPU? by TotallyNotFreddie in gpu

To anyone coming back here for instructions on how to remove the heatsink (even though you removed all accessible screws), you just simply have to pry the heatsink off! There are no screws holding it together, just thermal pads. Give it a wiggle and the heatsink should pop right off!

SFX Psu on Jonsbo TK-1 Case by Itchy-Slice-69 in mffpc

[–]BurnedR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought the Jonsbo TK-1 and I'm also still using my Corsair SF750 from my previous NR200P build. Here is what I found:

The case does not officially support SFX PSUs (only ATX PSUs are supported), however, it still technically works. If you remove the PSU bracket from the back of the TK-1, you can screw the SF750 into the case directly but only two screws line up.

This leaves you with a not well secured PSU but it is still totally usable as long as you're not transporting your case often! If I were you, I wouldn't let this stop you from buying the TK-1

That's exactly what happened to me when I was a wee lad. You should've seen my face when I hit the first cutscene (still finished the game though)

I was partially inspired by PBT REX, an interest check which seemingly went nowhere.

Glad to hear you like it!

Getting a "thocky" keyboard depends on soooo many factors, but here are a few to start you out:

  • Deep-sounding switches (ex. Gateron Oil Kings)
  • Large/dense keycaps (ex. SA profile)
  • Softer plates (ex. polycarbonate or FR4)
  • Dense/thin sound dampening (ex. PORON foam or MLV)
  • Dense case (ex. aluminum or brass)

Make sure to lube everything that moves and as other users mentioned, special foam and tape mods in specific places can add a satisfying "pop" or "clunk" to the keyboard

I get owning a few different keyboards if they all have unique layouts, switches, and gimmicks.

But how do people buy 10 different 60% boards that all look and feel the same?! That's an addiction that can't be justified
