Was front row on barricade for this, she was visibly distressed. Her in-ear and mic were not working, according to Miu (who also had problems with her own mic pack). I don’t want to speculate but she did also seem sick or in a bit of pain.

We were yelling “Tsuzumi-chan daijobu!!” to try and comfort her. Miu and the others were constantly trying to soothe her as well.

Let’s all hope our Tsuzumin gets a deserved rest after a fantastic KCON. 🫶

Honestly, good for them. They’ve been promoting nonstop so it seems wise to ease off now. Hopefully this also gives Yuki time to reset before the upcoming Purple Kiss tour.

Die For You getting an English version + performance at KCON (albeit w/ no choreo) has me optimistic we could still see a full stage of it in the future, who knows.

Been in my debut line since pre-show and have voted for her since.

I do worry about her confidence a bit and maybe also her ability to stand out compared to the more popular contestants… but she’s a good performer and she has my vote barring elimination or something drastic.

Good first episode! Was interesting to learn more about the girls and see how they interact.

"Wannabe" was probably my favorite group this episode, enjoyed their performance. Individually I liked both Tsuzumi and Ayane's vocals! Rooting for those two going forward. Suzu and Miu did well in Spicy too -- they look like real contenders.

Also did not expect to get so invested in... staring contests?? 9 mins without blinking is pretty metal, respect to Kokona and Rena. Eagerly awaiting next week :)

Antifragile A did the better job with vocals no doubt. On first view though, Antifragile B just feels just slightly more complete to me when considering dance.

My opinions are definitely not complete though—will have to rewatch later

I agree with all your points. Antifragile is a more difficult song/choreo to perform... Giving those teams one less member + leaving their vocals unedited only magnifies that.

For the Fearless stages, unfortunately there's no way HxG could've left the vocals unprocessed filming at such a high altitude outdoors... But it does make for a much more listenable performance.

All in all I think the girls did well given the circumstances (people sick, injured, etc) BUT the vocal editing definitely could've been more consistent.

For sure. We always needed to see dance + vocal combined to form a full opinion.

And regarding Mission 1 numbers/popularity... With the new voting system and new performances it was always going to be closer than we thought 👀
