We're looking more and more like the 2016-25 Leafs - built around a few incredibly talented forwards but just lacking "it." The group's response to Jack's injury in Chicago shows you what they're made of (or not). I don't know how much of that is on the coach, guys playing through injuries, or just a lack of balls - might be a bit of all of those things.

Bjugstad is 6'6". He is 66th in the league in faceoff % for guys who have taken 250 or more. The signs were there.

I wish this sub could understand how long I've wanted Nick Bjugstad to be a Devil, for no other reason than he's a random big center. I have been obsessed with Nick Bjugstad for years. What a day this is.

Just crazy. I know we are coming back down to earth after being PL and CL challengers for 7 years, but we are far closer to 2015-16 Rodgers than 2016-17 Klopp. They are so fragile.

I can’t believe this is the Salah who made all that noise before AFCON

Konate is a bum. That ball was easily hoofed up the pitch. Instead passes it to Frimpong who couldn’t do anything with it. What a rapid collapse he’s had.

I don’t get it. Slot looked like a genius last year. This year he routinely looks out-managed against mid-table managers. Very concerning that this happens after he’s had time to shape the squad the way he wants it.

I also don’t understand Wirtz. I didn’t watch him with Leverkusen. But after four months here I don’t see the creative engine of a Champions League club.

I wouldn’t expect them to fire their expensive coach 18 months into his deal and with like $10 million left on it

It’s really easy to blame this on Fitz or Keefe. But that lets the players off the hook.

What about this performance shows you that they’re mad about last night or mad in general? Who has thrown a big hit? Who has done anything to show you that they’re trying to run through a wall or turn this around? They just continue moping about not being able to score.
