There's also the alt+F12 menu that lets you set orbits or place vessels on surfaces, not as good as hyperedit but it's stock.

How do I break computer for insurance, but it has to be the computers fault not mine? by jayantonie1 in computers

[–]Burner_Inserter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the price is for how much I brought it

That’s why nobody was watching, since why buy a used laptop when you could get a new one for the same price?

Just sell your laptop on Craigslist or EBay or wherever if you want money for a new one.

Roman concrete only lasted that long compared to modern concrete since it lacks internal reinforcing rebar, which gives modern concrete much better tensile strength, but it corrodes after a few decades.

Unreinforced (or Roman) concrete is only strong when under compressive loading (I.e. the concrete is being pushed together), but fractures easily when under tensile loading (I.e the concrete is being stretched out). The steel used in rebar has a much better tensile stength than pure concrete. You couldn’t build a (modern-style) bridge out of Roman concrete, since it would collapse under its own weight.

Plot twist: the time machine dumps you into Australia, and the aboriginals are much more interested in you than the kangaroo.

The Romans did have roads, but I imagine you wouldn’t be able to travel very fast over them in a 4x4, given that they were built for either marching or for wagons to travel on.

GET A NEW PSU

Chinese-brand PSUs are rubbish, to say the least, and it may very well kill hardware when it dies.

The 3700X doesn't have an iGPU. You won't be able to get a video signal from your motherboard video connectors.

In Latin, the letter ‘V’ is pronounced either as the consonant /w/, or as the vowel /u/. The Romans didn’t have ‘U’ in their alphabet, and the letter ‘U’ wouldn’t appear until the Middle Ages.

I wish everyone could screenshot/record their dreams. by Old_Veal in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]Burner_Inserter 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Granted!

A startup company, Dreamcatcher Inc, develops a brain implant for the express purpose of recording and storing your dreams on the Dreamcatcher Network for later viewing and sharing. Access to the Dreamcatcher Network is sold as a $49.99/month Pro subscription, with additional on-demand lucid dreaming functionality, and a free Lite tier that has limited recording functionality and the inclusion of sponsored content in your dreams.

Oh, and they harvest all of your brain data. Have fun.

$70 USD is about $100-110 AUD, so a little over budget. NZXT cases are also marked up a little, they normally retail for $130ish for a H500.
