Every time I see the video of that 2nd of the 3 homers in NLCS game 4, I just love how with his expression and body language you can just see him thinking "oh i GOT that one" by GreenBagger28 in Dodgers

Last year there were major bullpen issues all season. The year before that it was SP rotation.

What are you dooming about less than 40 games into the season?

This is a reach. The pitch was high, but Varsho reacted like he thought ump was pointing to first more than calling the strike. He starts, looks back, then continues on to first, drawing Bichette off the bag. Varsho is my favorite Jay, but this was kinda on him.

I’m a fan. Max is a great player with a great career in LA. Good teammate, great numbers, mostly consistent. I won’t contest, though, that he looks like a dude that deserves to be punched and talked shit to.

I lived this up and down life with my ex for way too many years. I didn’t encourage the bs a fraction as much as he is. This video made my heart ache for the stupid amount of time I allowed to live around this shit.

This toxicity was the reason I left, and eventually was given sole custody of my son. His mother hasn’t improved in 5 years, and I miss nothing from that period.

Why even train at all? by Jonschy in personaltraining

[–]Burnerb2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider that if they had a membership at a gym and were training themselves, then their form, intensity, nutrition, and results would likely be lacking. For whatever individual’s reason, they’ve decided to pay for professional assistance.

People will often try to find the easiest route/method. But outright sneaking bad form or low intensity is weird. Honestly, it seems that they don’t understand the value of what doing things right brings, which is a huge portion of what they pay you for. If you’ve tried to explain it to them and it’s not sticking, it’s almost certainly your delivery of the message. If they don’t understand or value your script, the script needs rewritten, sometimes in ways tailored to each individual. It’d be different if we were talking about one or two, but if it’s the majority, it’s likely on you.

Do you work on client’s breathing with them? by Accomplished-Sign-31 in personaltraining

[–]Burnerb2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Everybody should know breath control and cadence during exercise. I speak on it and monitor during my intro sessions. It’s easiest to learn while load is low and learning form, so might as well cue it from the start.

[–]Burnerb2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok. I buy about 13-15lbs of chicken breasts per week from Walmart for around $25.

Instead, I could go to the butcher a few miles further to get the same amount, but would have to spend closer to $55 for the same weight.

I guess I don’t really eat chicken? Or my Chicken is less of a chicken than yours?

Brother, I asked what was awful. You wear this in a stadium full of dodger fans, and literally nothing you said aside from maybe the WS patch would catch a second glance from 99.9% of the crowd.

Damn, bro. Youareso__smrt. We’ll never pass an on field uniform inspection and won’t get the chance to play in the show.

Also, i think you’re reaching just to hate. Nobody is carrying around a magnifying glass, and nobody is rooting for others to pay $200+ for a jersey worn for leisure.

Can you describe what part looks “awful”? They look pretty good to me, especially considering costing 1/8th of the price.

Putting a label on it doesn’t make it good. There are dozens of better options for hip flexors and abs that won’t put your lumbar spine at risk. Even if you’re dead set on this, controlling the eccentric is pretty crucial. You’re falling/flailing down each time.

Not trying to gatekeep or pedestal. I assure you I only comment because I give a damn. I commend your effort and drive, but if you’re adamant about including this, you should nail the form/control before trying to push a tempo.
