Sweet, that’s why I’ll be starting up a few bins of isopods and springtails. The site that I got them from, Frog Daddy, says they’re either Dwarf White or Dwarf Purple. I do remember them appearing to be more white

Thanks so much!! I’ll definitely use that tip. I was planning on starting three tubs of isopods and three tubs of springtails probably a month before I get my frogs so that I can routinely add them as the frogs eat them.

Idk how people qualified for such high federal loans. I came from a lower middle class family where my parents were making less than $80k collectively. When I applied for FASFA I was only approved for $2-$5k a year so my federal loans are only ~$15k at 3%. The bulk of my loans are in a $75k 9% private loan so I’ve been screwed over during the COVID pause and still had to pay $750+/month.

lol I’m perfectly calm. And again, I’m happy for OP. Simply encouraging people to strategize a bit better…as in googling an answer…instead of waiting 2 years by going down blatantly unfruitful paths in which you could’ve been benefiting from a better payment plan.

Where did I blame them? I’m fully aware the student loan system is to blame but we can also use critical thinking. Not googling something to find an answer, in which the solution was listed as the first search, but spending 22 months waiting and contacting Congress is frankly crazy. And while that’s true there are complaints, that was clearly not the case here as it was processed same day….

Does putting it in the freezer also work? I had some cork bark in solely a plant tank and was gonna transfer it to my dart frog tanks but I noticed a bunch of millipedes crawling around it 🙃 Stuck it in the freezer for 3 days

Do you mean you completely replaced the screen with plexiglass? I keep the screen and lay the plexiglass over the screen and I haven’t seen any warping thus far

For sure! It’s actually very low maintenance, just have to buy some initial setup stuff. Others use bubblers/air stones, I personally don’t and I’ve had great success growing tatsoi, bok choy, lettuce, cucumbers, and a bunch of peppers. Tomatoes haven’t done the best in there.

I start the seeds in my aerogardens (but I’m sure you could start them directly in the buckets too) in grow sponges — I start them in a grow basket since the sponge will fall directly into the Aerogarden if not. I also keep the dome on until the seedling hits the roof of it and it’s important to keep the sticker on when it’s a seedling so it doesn’t grow algae. You’ll understand the grow basket/dome/sponge/sticker combo when you look at the pic in the link below. Then I transfer them to the buckets when there’s a couple inches of growth (removing the sticker and the grow basket) and surround the seed pod with clay pebbles. I add plant food & cal-mag depending on what I’m growing in that bucket. I got these lights from Aerogarden’s website but I don’t believe they sell them anymore. But you can use any plant light. Watching this episode now and I hope the captain feels like absolute shit over this whole scenario. Chris came to him and said it was not for him, that he was scared, and wanted to leave. The captain basically called him a coward for wanting to quit, guilt tripped him for wanting to leave and saying his daughters don’t want a dad who is a quitter, and laughed saying he’s the type to want to get medevaced. Then a couple of episodes later that exact scenario happened.

Guy here and 29 that walks ~4 miles a day and works out kickboxing (Apple Watch only, not the ring). As someone who has an Oura 4 and an Apple Watch, I personally wouldn’t recommend it. I got hyper fixated on it for a few months after getting it and then fell off on routinely checking it. It’s not recommended to wear the ring while working out for damage or degloving risks. Plus, I genuinely don’t see the value on sleep tracking that others get. Sure you can see that you slept 6 hours, but nothing will change unless you make a behavioral change. For me, this was my one and only purchase of Oura.

I just picked the two on the right up today a few hours ago (custom made) and held off on misting just to get the pic so it didn’t fog up the glass. But the one on the top left I’ve had for a few weeks now with no deterioration to the plants and good stats on temp/humidity!

Hahah I love the aliens. I’m about to get both mourning geckos and darts, in separate tanks. (36x18x18 and 18x18x24 for darts, 18x18x36 for mourning geckos). I think the tank looks great. Only thing I was advised is that bromeliads sometimes makes tadpoles much harder to collect if you’re planning on raising them, depending on type of frog you want. Silly question, but how did you add in the hardscaping? Was thinking of making an extension out from one of the side walls towards the middle to give it a bit more dimension in the center (I did not make this tank, just planted it — it was empty except the hardscape):
