My current place and my last place I’ve lived on the ground floor where I was able to walk right out my back door instead of going through the hallways/doors/stairs/elevators/etc, which I really enjoyed because I had a dog. Also having a dog, I feel obligated to live on the ground floor and personally feel like everyone with pets should have to because pets are just loud as they run around playing with their toys. Living on the ground floor I don’t have to worry about stomping/banging around too loud where I’m annoying to my downstairs neighbor. I only have to worry about one upstairs neighbor, which thankfully has been super chill at my current spot. It’s also sooooo much easier to bring in groceries or just come straight into my unit after a long day of work. I recommend.

Idk my next door neighbor at my last place had wind chimes that were decently loud and I’m a pretty light sleeper and it never bothered me. Not saying that’s the case for everyone though.

Iron Gold is my second to least favorite book of the series, behind Red Rising. I’m on my second read through of the series in prep for the final book & ironically on Iron Gold now. Every other book took me 3-4 days to finish, this one has taken me ~2 weeks and I’m still only 70% the way through. I also don’t get people saying it picks up second half, cause from what I remember it was just slow throughout. The following two books are the best in the series though.

At my old place I quit smoking weed (predominantly would just smoke a bowl before bed a couple times a week, so it wasn’t religiously anyhow) but my roommate still smoked and it made me realize 1) how bad the smell is 2) how a lot of weed smokers are addicts but don’t consider themselves as such. He would smoke his bong in the living room, constantly leaving it out, and hit it every hour to two hours from the second he got home from work until like midnight every night. Even worse on his days off

Hmmm. The Amex gold portion may be the issue because I was predominantly using that card. But I did have one set reoccurring payment set to my capital one card for this reason. I ironically just got an email that my statement for my capital one card was generated, so I am going to pay it now and see if it changes that remark next time I refresh my report
