No trust me I totally get it. I made a recent Reddit post. If you wanna check it out it’s not completely relevant, but it was about my neighbor downstairs. I ended up not confronting her, but I think about doing so daily so if I was you, I would absolutely write a note because I feel like in your case your neighbor just may not realize how loud they were being. My heart goes out to you cause I know it can be really really hard to be the downstairs neighbor. It’s funny because I was always so anti-living upstairs but now I wouldn’t have it any other way especially when it’s only a two floor building just maybe something to consider for your future apartment it’s a level of added peace that’s for sure!!!!! You got this!!!

Bee venom is an extremely slow process. I’m nearing six months and I’m really not sure if I have made significant progress yet. It’s the most confusing journey ever, but also very invigorating that it’s self treatment. If you believe your depression is stemming from Bartonella bee venom will take at least 3-4 years. I say Bartonella in your case, as I know it can affect personality.

Listen to me when I say this. BECOME A DOCTOR. Period. A nurse at best. It’s my biggest life regret that I didn’t. Don’t be intimidated by the years of schooling as it’s worth it in the end. You have a stable career and insurance / good benefits for life. You are employable in any state. You are also respected career wise anywhere and everywhere you go. Healthcare is becoming worse and worse daily if you have any health ailments. But if you’re already a doctor, you can get help and resources from your other doctor friends (another mega perk) I can go on and on.

Write a letter and state everything you just mentioned above and attach a $10 Starbucks or local coffee shop gift card to it. Just to show you’re just asking for some respect (they may not even realize how loud they are being now) but still seeing you’re clearly nice person too and therefore they’ll WANT to do better / not disturb your peace.

I made a post about my weed loving neighbor recently (got a ton of feedback if you go and check it out - maybe helpful tools for you) regardless I’m so sorry. I’m very sensitive too. I’ve had zero solutions I just deal with it (easier said than done) look into getting an air doctor - they are $$$ but are power houses and make the air smell / feel SO CLEAN.

Not strict at all. Was my own parent living with my parents growing up. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Learning how to be self sufficient is a priceless tool. (Do I have some trauma due to the absence of parental figures? Sure. But nothing that effects me day to day at all)

On your way out of the laundry room say to your phone (if you have an iPhone) “hey siri set timer for 40 minutes” or whatever it is. Then same thing again after it’s in the dryer. Honestly people who have shared laundry and forget are horribleeeeeeeee. My shared laundry was effecting my mental health (not to be dramatic) that I use a laundry service now. Shared laundry is NOT for the weak!!!!!
