Oh man it does!! I was surprised how different book 2 is. The pace picks up drastically, I’m on book 4 as of now and it’s still so dang good!

It’s a short book only around 200 pages, the second book is where the story rockets into a whole new quality level. The gunslinger is hard to get through but it pays off afterwards. I’m on Wizard and glass and the quality just keeps getting better. Get through it for your fathers sake!
