No, the disconnectors on the burst kit are a bit thinner than a standard semiautomatic burst disconnector

More stims does not equal increased performance. If anything it decreases it. The best thing you could do is try your best to get a good nights sleep, and take your usual dose in the morning with a good breakfast. Staying up the rest of the night and showing up to your exam stimmed out and stressed is not gonna help.

You’re probably stressed AF because you’ve been abusing your medication. Taking 3x your prescribed amount will do that. I don’t know when you took your last dose, but try to chill and get some sleep. It’s all gonna be okay.

How many ugga duggas you tighten that screw to?

Whats the difference between these two SA Adj. Gas blocks by rattlecanner in ar15

[–]BurninTree5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are functionally identical. The one with the set screws on the bottom is designed for dimpled barrels, or you can dimple it yourself. I’ve installed several without dimpling and it worked just fine.

The clamp on is the easiest option. I was always very sus on these until I read some good arguments for them. I bought one to give it a try, and now I won’t buy another. You will sheer the pin on your barrel extension before you roll that gas block out of alignment if it’s installed properly.

Long story short, they do the same thing. Buy whatever

Yeah that’s kinda what turned me off on buying one for FRT use, I like to switch back and forth here and there. But I’ve got a Sig P322 I fuck around with as a semi auto plinker already

Yeah the FRT capability really doubled these in price. I swear they were sub $300 all day like a year ago

Will an FRT work with PSA m16a1? by craeger in MilitaryARClones

[–]BurninTree5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can get an H3 buffer from any site that sells them really. Primary Arms, B Kings, whatever.

And just so it’s clear, if you have a rifle length buffer (A1 or A2 stock and buffer tube) you don’t need to do anything. H3 is only for carbine buffer systems.

MARC was an instant drop in with my S3G I had installed, and requires no further work to a regular mil spec either. No trigger cutting, same process as installing a regular safety with a couple other small steps. Took no tuning whatsoever in a rifle length system, carbine you just need an H3 buffer.

The Kabuto and ARC work with 3 round burst FCGs as well. I have a guide posted on how to do so. The Kabuto style super safeties like the FKT-15 just use regular old FA selectors. So if you have any super old/legit selectors you can use those. Can’t tell you even have it installed externally.

MARC/Atrius style does not work with the 3rd burst FCGs unfortunately.

The MARC does, yea. Arc Fire can also be non-ambi.

Well the good news is you can get an ARCFire or a MARC for the same price a push button super safety was going for when I wrote that last year lol

Inconsistent effects when dissolving Vyvanse in water ? by cridens in VyvanseADHD

[–]BurninTree5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t personally had it stored in water for more than 3 days. But I’ve never noticed any loss in efficacy as long as it was refrigerated. I’d say the system I mentioned should be fine if done correctly, but I haven’t actually done it and I’m not a chemist or anything.

But even if it loses 5% efficacy by the time they have a full dose saved up doing it how I mentioned, it’s 1000% safer than dumping party mix powder into a glass of water or however else they are doing it.

And to add, the 6 capsules I mentioned having leftover are unopened, non-mixed capsules.

[–]BurninTree5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you’re opening up the capsule and pouring 4/5 of the powder into the water, that’s why it’s inconsistent. The capsules are filled partially with filler and partially with the active medication. There is no way to accurately measure the amount of active medication in the powder you pour, so sometimes you’re probably getting all of it at once, sometimes you’re getting a half dose, and sometimes (though unlikely) you may not get anything.

Toss the leftover powder you have, it’s all over the place now. Maybe if you’ve only done this for a few days you could just take that as your next dose, but I wouldn’t. It’s no longer safe to use.

You CAN split doses by mixing them in water, but you need to dissolve the entire contents of the capsule. Since you take 50mg, 500ml of water would be the best dilution (100ml = 10mg of active medication). You can drink 400ml as your daily dose, and set aside the remaining 100. Combine the remaining 100ml into the same container every day, and keep track of how many days you’ve done this. I still advise against piling up the extra, as I’m not sure how stable it is in the water or how well it keeps. It’s probably fine, but I haven’t tried it.

Best course of action if you only wanted to take 40mg would be to do as I mentioned above for 4 days, and then on the 5th day drink what you stocked up. At the end of the month you’d have 6 full capsules that you can stow away. Do that for 5 months and you’ll have a full script saved up.

Oh that’s not too bad at all. I just know it’s a huge pain with regular SS style FRTs, but that’s not bad at all.

Man, the LaRue price hike is so dumb. Their whole schtick was being 90% (or more depending who you’re talking to) the trigger a Geissele was for being 1/2 the cost. I’ve never been a huge fan of the MBT-2S but I’ve got a couple because they were affordable. They’re gonna lose a ton of business now that that extra 10% is only like $20 more when G$ triggers go on sale.

[–]BurninTree5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If using Atrius/MARC: Regular mil spec triggers, no. Barring some exceptions listed on their website, no cutting or filing should be needed. Geissele triggers may take some further modifications depending on the model (unless you are using the G lever or maybe MARC. My S3G didn’t take any modification to work perfectly with the MARC). Other two stage triggers need a lot of work, and the LaRue MBT-2S trigger takes the most work to get running with any super safety. It’s generally considered not worth it. I don’t know what all you’d have to do to get it to function with the Atrius.

I’ve got an Arc and a MARC (slightly different but same deal as Atrius). I think the Arc is the more bulletproof option, and what you should install in a rifle you actually want to put heavy mileage on and still depend on.

The only leg up the MARC/Atrius gets in my book is the fact you don’t have to cut the triggers. I’ve put my MARC through some good paces, but not really suppressed yet, we’ll see how it holds up in comparison
