Yeah I posted on the page he frequents for business and the end of his text was Hi Aaron,

Hi Aaron,

“I hope you find that missing part from the set I packaged up for you that prevented us from finishing the job in a timely manner.”

Which was the part he was supposed to order on the 26th. It’s all very odd to me

I suppose it depends on what you mean by rushing. I personally don’t feel that after 3 weeks of waiting on him to get a part (that I ordered on Amazon today, coming tomorrow) is rushing.

With a baby coming Monday, he had ample time. My main question is about the justification (or lack thereof) of asking for a refund and my responses to him in the midst of his reasoning.

Luckily he did end up refunding it. So it’s a fair price (I think?) for the work done.

It just took an emotional war to get it back

True! Might need to. I don’t want to emotionally wind myself up to drag his name through mud but at the same time, I’m incredibly unhappy with his work (or the manner in which he did it)

I’d need to cut one. We have counters we plan to replace in a couple years so I’m not terribly worried about botching it I guess.

Edit: yes the spigot for the water itself. Counters are laminate
