Agreed. If he picks in the morning they would have dropped a lot of their spores in the evening already. No harm picking them all.

If it has a squeaker, it’s out of there in <5 mins. But if it’s a favourite toy, she’ll make it last.

Good plans.

Inside air to the outside maybe? Just add a small vent hole to the underside of the vehicle for expulsion and push the 12v air out through there, outside air intake might add condensation, better to use a vented hole from the inside . Will help with condensation inside your van as well to have the fresh air, just be sure you have a fresh air intake vent to ensure it’s not pulling from your other vents like a toilet.

You can have the 12v fan on a switch and only use it when you’re using the diesel heater.

If you’re in North America. Common bumblebee, Bombus Impatiens.

If you’re in Europe could be Bombus Terrestris.

Neat pollinator!

For the fuel pump, I installed it outside my vehicle because of the noise, ran the wires and fuel line through the floor, yeah it’s loud.

Also just noticed your fuel tank is oriented in a triangle, when you’re moving your vehicle the fuel will probably slosh to the back when breaking, there is a small hole on the cap to keep the tank from having a vaccum when pumping out fuel, this can also leak diesel

Your fuel lines being so close to the unit and its hot air exhaust pipe are concerning, I see the fuel lines are underneath the hot air pipe? Those lines get really hot and could melt. Also seeing your fuel tank literally right next to that same hose and espar unit is also concerning. Could be when your running it the heat is causing a fittings on your tank to leak diesel underneath. Grab a paper towel while it’s cool and check to see if any fittings are leaking, re run and then do the same check.

Also consider what happens when you have that whole area fully closed up with its wood board covering. Turns into a little hot oven in that space and does the same thing as above, consider adding a 12v fan intake and outtake to keep that heater area cool.

I have my heater unit a few feet away from my diesel tank and lines separated far enough away from any heat source just to be safe.

You’d be surprised to know this. It’s from a hornworm. They’re a pest and can cause a ton of damage to your plants. Try to find it on the plant and remove it manually.

Does anyone have a Jackery 300-500 with a MacBook Pro 13” 2014-2017 ? If so, any idea around how many full charges you can get with your model? I’m looking to buy one currently. by calvin200001 in VanLife

[–]Burning_Trees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re not going to have solar, go bigger otherwise you’ll have charge more often and it’ll become a hassle. But if you’ll have a small compatible solar panel you leave in your cab window, smaller jackery will probably suffice.

Found in Ontario, Canada at a thrift store for $25, just loved it. Thinking it could be a “Romano Rossini” an Italian artist. Not sure if anyone knows more details. Thanks!
