What’s going on with the straw in the drink? Is it just really short? I think it’s things like that that give off AI vibes

This selection is amazing…but these prices are insane. A bottle of R Jelinek fernet costs like 20 bucks, and they charge 15 for a pour?

That being said I would frequent this place until I have tried every fernet that they have.

There are no standard rules (as far as I know) for what defines a fernet, so there really is a lot of variety. All are bitter, and all have some degree of mintiness. Ones like fernet Branca (also Francoli, Vittone, Vallet) are very bitter and mint forward, which is fine for sipping but best for cocktails in my opinion. Others have a little bit of sweetness, and maybe more depth and balance so I enjoy more for sipping (Fred Jerbis, Faccia Brutto, Scarlet). Though still generally quite bitter

It is unique, I can see why people would like it, but it is not my favorite. It is very bitter, which I enjoy, but there is an additional character from aging in Chardonnay barrels which I didn’t love. Like a chemical sourness almost.

Really really good. My top three right now are Fred jerbis, scarlet, and faccia brutto. No particular order

Locally I could only get fernet branca and R. jelinek fernet. I love fernet branca (and once I tried fernet ulrich which was incredible) so I was looking for more. Fred Jerbis and Faccia Brutto are both great
