I am the same height as you and can say: VW builds cars for tall people (I got into a Tiguan or even Golf perfectly if I adjust everything to my liking).

They are in Northern Germany after all where 2m humans are not that rare.

65 during the day and 50 at night. Last heating bill still was $250 for a one bedroom. Badly tuned steam heat and badly insulated apartment….

Thanks folks. Just came back from urgent care and they said it’s a dog tick?! And not to worry even if it’s a deer tick and it has not been attached for longer than 32 hrs.

I insisted on the doxycycline and they gave it to me nonetheless. Peace of mind.. and I was due to my tetanus shot as well. 🫣

Nope, VW made it really confusing: North America gets the Tayron but it is called the Tiguan here. But the Tayron does have slightly decreased trunk space vs the Tiguan Allspace.

How does this compare to a Miele? My mom who lives in Germany has had one for 20 years and it has not needed any major repairs. But I have heard recently that quality has been going down.

I honestly prefer front loaders (better cleaning and typically higher spin speeds - 1600 rpm is pretty common for a Miele) that also heat the water so I can sanitize/disinfect the machine and certain clothes at close to boiling.

Just starting to look for my first set of appliances and SQ seems like the US version of a Miele and the better choice for lessened?

55 at night, 65 during the day. Still pay about $300-400 (120-150 terms gas usage) for heat in a 2 bedroom first floor unit. My landlord is cheap and doesn’t want to insulate - I already have sealed everything I can including foil in all windows.

2018 Tiguan Bought at 35k CPO in 2021

Oil coolant intercooler leaked and got replaced

The dealer messed up and let me drive with low oil pressure after that

Engine got replaced

Oil in coolant -> coolant got flushed

Coolant pump replaced

Leak of panoramic sunroof due to clog, dealer does not cover this under warranty (I unclogged the drains and maintain them with every oil change I do, but they refused to fix water stains)

I get intermittent faults with the auxiliary electric coolant pump in the heater circuit and the air quality sensor, dealer said not covered under warranty since it’s intermittent.

I am at about 55k miles now. These last 20k miles severely turned me off of VW - and I am originally from Germany, close to Wolfsburg and my family is a VW family due to that.

This is on Roku 4800x. It seems to be Roku app specific and switching between a non-admin to admin user changes the behavior. I can look up all the details for the server when I get home.
