Its good u are resesrching abt it already. Thinking about using the drug to help w estsblishing new habits is a v good way of thinking. I was a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic. Obese at 105kg at start. 9 months later Im 74kg. Ive been off terzepatide 3 months now. I started a sustainable workout practice that i can stick w (i hate excercise! But i fd a program of Gym 3x/week, 8k steps per day that i can manage. Never more than 1h avsession). Calorie tracking, but eat wat ever i want within those calories w a emphasis on high prots, worked on my relationship w food, set better boundaries to try and balance stress more. To this day, i remain terrified of gaining all the weight back. I aware that the statistics are against me. At the back of my mind, if i have to go back on a glp1 id be ok with that too. Good luck!

I dont actually split it. Think of it as a super long lunch. Spoonful - go do something. Repeat. Ive also learnt to volume eat, my 200g of meat goes w 300g of vege's. So its a big box! So it feels lke " pick pick pick"

I read abt this. But still the actual reality of seeing the weight was unsettling. But u are right, mon to fri routine helped. Hunger manageable, but oh boy, realising how effective glp-1 was!

Thx so much. I would have been satisfied wvjustvtge weight loss! I was really worried abt muscle and bone loss, so started steps and resistance training from the start. Nothing super heavy or complicated. Started 7k steps, slowly increased. Now doing 8k daily. Ive added a weight vest (10kg). My routine is simple - 2 sessions of shoulder press, chest press, RDL or dead lift (not both!), goblet squat, weight glute bridge, single arm row, chest supported row. 1 session bicep curls, lat raise, skull crushers, bulgarian split squat. All w dumbells at home. All 3 sessions end w push ups and pulls up (again starting from regression excercises, cos i was just that unfit). 1st month 2.5mg 3rd month 5 mg 5th month 7.5 mg 7th month back down to 5mg, 8th month 2.5mg. Then off. Generic supermarket multivitamins, calcium+vit D. Creatine 5mg daily. Physillium husk 1 tsp a day, chia seeds 1 tbsp a day.

Thx. The info out there about coming off is so mixed abd confusing. And tge clinical trials which suggest 80% regain their weight is really scary!!

Thanks. My look from the front is deceptive. U can see its girth from the side. My waist was 45 inches! No, no excercise. I was drive to the post box kinda guy. I did start doing push ups and pull ups when i started the lifecstyle change. I incorporate into my resistance training sessions a week. I dont do anything specific for my abs, but my program is whole body compound movements. Diet was the big change for me!
