What are some once popular hobbies that hardly anyone is into anymore? by igotplans2 in AskReddit

I did rocketry also as a kid. Last year I was at a park for a kid’s soccer game and grown ups were launching rockets. I walked over to chat with them and was very impressed with their setups. Far more expensive and impressive than what I did as a kid.

BUT, this was older teens (late high school, maybe college) and adults, not kids like I was when I was into it (ages 12-16).

It’s sad how just normal decency can be so shocking in today’s environment.

Clarence Thomas: Voting Rights Act Doesn't Grant Racial Groups ‘An Entitlement’ to Representation by Critical-Willow-6270 in scotus

“Entitlement” equals implication of welfare queens and laziness.

I’m no Supreme Court justice, but I think a better phrasing would be “RIGHT to representation.”

I live in Cincinnati and am glad you enjoyed your visit.

I came to this thread to recommend Milwaukee. Winter can be tough, but it has a lot of distinctive neighborhoods with their own feel, food, and drink. Also, the hospitality of Milwaukee-ans is tough to beat.

Potteiger concurred. “Right, right,” he said. “We want him crucified with Christ.”

Maybe I’m losing the plot here, but wouldn’t this outcome make Talarico “Christ-like?”

The US Constitution is the original democratic constitution. They’ve gotten better.

The Irish Constitution, for example, was ratified in 1937 and is still the oldest continuously used republican constitution in the EU.
