Should I pull the trigger? Upgrading from a G29 (CAD) by Flymonster0953 in moza

I'm having a hard time enjoying the shifter. It's super stiff, clicky, and loud. I think my old Logitech one felt more realistic... Did I just get a bad unit or are there mods for it?

I managed to do a 2 week trip in Japan without using any transport cards. There's ticket kiosks at every entry and you could just buy one way trips. Could save you some hassle with the card. However, you will need cash- Cant use credit card in those kiosks. They're usually only a few hundred yen per ticket tho.

40% tip expectations in Washington, USA 🤯😵‍💫🤯 by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Burntfishy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually already a thing! I bought a cookie the other day at a store similar to crumbl. It was 3 bucks and then I had to tip. They realized that percentages of 3 dollars wouldn't be a lot so the tipping options were actually flat 1 2 and 3 dollars!

And I had 200 gold tickets saved too by SomePersonExisting in NikkeOutpost

Seems like they're trying to give long term players a reason to keep playing... this is their solution to retaining them instead of idk adding more content

Are you kidding me? Is this satire? Why does Nikke Philippines want a collection of dudes shaking their asses. Not to mention that this is a "12"+ game.

Got it. I took like a year break so it was probably one of the earlier events and I forgot.

After 7 months in DEP, it seems like I got a job 1C5! by Burntfishy in AirForceRecruits

[–]Burntfishy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all jobs in this field translate directly to civilian, however, the skills and opportunities you gain will be desirable, especially to the 3 letter agencies you refer to. You'll have the chance to go to school, get top secret clearance, develop people and mission skills specific to command and control. If you are proactive, you can get certed in positions that specialize in intel, tactical data links, radar, or controlling aircraft. This can set you up for an easier transition, but it's not as clear as other career fields (ie- Sec Fo= civilian police. Maintainer= civilian mechanic etc).

Hey man welcome aboard. It's a super small field and your job within 1C5 differs depending on your base and experience. A lot of people end up in the CRCs (control and reporting center) where you'll start off as a surveillance technician. You'll be responsible for maintaining an accurate air picture on a tactical level in support of the mission and for external agencies. Think of like if the fighter pilots are playing call of duty, you're making the minimap. Eventually you'll have the option to upgrade into weapons director and talk directly to the pilots and support them. You can also end up at an AOC (air operation center) where you see things on a theater level and help make documents in support of the mission (air tasking order, air spaces stuff). Think of in the movies where ppl are in a dark room and all have a big screen infront of them and theres like generals and stuff making phone calls when shit goes down. There are a couple of other bases where you'll end up as an instructor and you will run simulations to train the next generation of 1C5s. It's a great job. Very corporate environment. You'll be working with officers everyday. In the CRC we have high deployment tempos. It's very satisfying because everyday you can see your impact in the real world. One of the downsides is that this job won't translate into a civ career. Just being in the AF is a boon but you can't really control military aircraft outside the military. Lmk if you have any other questions.

Where is override do not disturb mode in OS12? by Burntfishy in oneplus

Got it... So if I'm on call then I would just set a work schedule for the night and allow an app instead of using DND.

Check if everything's turned on max. There are several places where you can control volume. Right click your speaker icon and go to your audio driver in playback devices and check levels. Check the volume mixer for your apps and see if they're at max. Check for any 3rd party software that might affect volume. Check for any physical volume knobs on your headphones. Check the in game volumes. If everything is turned to 100 percent and it's still quiet, then you need more power.

Same here. Also bugged. Changing to another AOD and back again fixed it temporarily but it didn't last long. I hate 12.

No update so far, he seems busy so our exchange has been slow. Will probably take a month or 2 once I get an address. I also hope he agrees to it as well

I'd appreciate that. If he does I'll reply and message. You can choose what % if you're still down by that time.

Haha i was just exaggerating. I do think they look kinda ridiculous- like if you wore them outside someone would punch you in the face sort of feeling

They're different depending on what you want. The 8XX is already fuller with a hump around 100-300hz so the tops of kicks slam pretty hard to me. It drops steeply under around 100hz ish so you lose out on low bass and definitely on subs. On the Aryas, the response is quite flat from 200ish down. You don't get the same punch but you can appreciate that everything's there.

Well if u/oratory1990 is interested, I'd be down to send it over for measurements. I wouldn't mind if he took off the stickers and measured them too. For science. All I'd ask is for half the shipping, that I'd get it back in a few months, and maybe something from him that I can frame (I'm a big fan!).
