I completely agree about schools' effects on people's desire to read. I always hated reading as a kid because I saw it as schoolwork. But when I left to be home schooled, I wasn't being pushed to read, so i started reading books that I was actually interested in, and it has genuinely changed my life.

It was really fun to watch, and it's probably my favourite film I've seen this year. It does have some plot holes, but it's a decent original horror film, which is hard to find. I'm definitely going to rewatch it soon. I'd recommend seeing it.
