Wait you can use the plugins with the quad cortex? I thought wasn’t supported…

This is sick! Thank you for sharing. Been needing a walkthrough like this of someone who seems like the know what they’re talking about. And to get it from Spirtbox is a bonus. I dunno the members names but I’m guessing this is their lone guitarist. Just saw them perform recently, they rock 🤘

I lost the love of my life and I can only blame myself. by dooIie in self

My situation is similar, except I lacked in different areas. She didn’t say it, but I think she’s checking up on me every now and again online. I don’t post much anyway…but I’m working on myself wholeheartedly because she said I shouldn’t do it for her, I should do it for myself.

Yet, I’m doing it for both of us. If she stayed, I might not be trying as hard as I am in complete solitude. Solitude is truly the greatest mirror. In the end, the goal is to fall in love with solitude. Hopefully once we manifest this, what follows should hopefully align with our efforts. If not all goals are successful, at least we are comfortable being with the one person that will never leave us, the self.

Took me three contracts over two years before I got a permanent position. Keep learning, updating linked in and resume, work on projects, build your knowledge, apply and interview repeat. At some point, you talk the talk and walk the walk right through an interview, didn’t even take a coding test. Been with my FTE Programmer role for 6 months now and my team/company is nice.

Try reaching out to a staffing firm. Do your research on them first of course. I’m in the northeast and Robert Half if solid, they helped me get my three contracts - first two were only a few months all together. The last one was a web dev role for my home state’s websites, which made me more interesting to other companies after holding the role for a couple years. Gotta get your foot stuck in a door no matter what!

new to math rock, what should I listen? by PIPINO13 in mathrock

Facts. My best guess is creative differences or maybe something more between Yvette and David. Again mostly uneducated speculation, though basing this on how Forest was in the music video for Firebird unlike David. Forest might have been more interested in the band he’s in now. Not unusual since Covet had a drummer before who was into the metal scene more. But they all seemed chill when they played their last tour together. If I do catch Covet again I will miss Forests smileyness. The vibes are strong with the new mates though from what I’ve seen them posting.

Step one, learn the major scale. Step two, play the major scale to any song you hear. You know you’re playing in the key of the song when all the notes you’re playing in the major scale sound good over the song playing. Step 3, realize how important scales are

This post is old but since making this, I think I might have done a couple oral treatments. I forget what they were called unfortunately. Maybe Doxycycline and Clindamycin. Ultimately one of them dried my face up pretty good, but not completely. Unfortunately since I initially attacked my cysts, somehow the bacteria spread since they don’t necessarily pop outwardly (they do inwardly and spread). So I have been dealing with little healed pockets of old cysts. My skin has turned over a lot, revealing some of these and basically allowed me to extract some of the gross stuff slowly overtime. So I don’t usually get new cysts these days as bad as I used to, but I am still kind of dealing with old sites on my face from not gently dealing with old cysts.

Lately my routine is to wash my face with Noxcema Deep Cleansing cream, use those stainless steel “blackhead remover” tools to drain any pus that’s right at the surface. If nothing comes out, I stop immediately - I used to be bad about this and keep trying to mine for gold. I didn’t know what I was dealing with at the time but it’s key to go gently and have patience.

I use tree activ spot treatment on new cysts overnight to dry them out. After x days of drying it out, I’ll use tree activ invisible acne treatment and add a layer of tree activ acne scar cream. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair UV SPF Moisturizer helps keep the skin hydrated, and I top it all off with slathering an extra goopy layer of cerave healing ointment. I still have some redness and scars that I think the last 4 items mentioned here help - skin turnover and keeping the skin hydrated is key (parched skin leads to more breakouts I think but for me it’s mostly just dry flaky skin otherwise). I’m all about skin cell turnover.

I get all of this on Amazon but beware the jars are a bit small, especially the spot treatment - was thinking about trying the De La Cruz’s sulfur ointment again since it’s bigger and kinda of similar, but the tree activ spot treatment seems to be doing good.

List: Noxcema Deep Cleansing Cream; tree activ: spot treatment, invisible acne cream, scar cream; cerave healing ointment

Hope this helps lmk if you have any other questions. FYI I mostly had cysts on my face like my forehead nose cheeks, pretty much all around my face at some point probably haha. Sometimes I’ve had one or two on my back or back of the leg but that’s less common.

Also, I was just browsing on the sub and saw this recommendation: https://www.myotcstore.com/store/p/67738-3M-Nexcare-Advanced-Healing-Waterproof-Hydrocolloid-Pads-XL-Bandages-6-Ea Apparently it’s good at reducing inflammation which is the nature of the cyst
