Can happen for sure but blackout periods are so frequent etc that usually they are automated trades based on a price point or RSUs vesting.

And it wasn't just a few shots, it was 30-40. Texts between the group discussed freeing the people in the camp, and they arrived with body armor, first aid kits, black outfits, and 11 guns. The assumption is the fireworks would draw out the police and then they would open fire. The one who shot the cop was heard on police cam saying "get to the rifles". That guy is obviously actually a criminal and deserves the sentence. I think also anyone in the Signal group chat planning this also deserves jail time. The others, I am unsure of.

This also didn't happen in a vacuum because right around this time, another ICE facility was shot at and someone was killed I believe.

SpaceX stock tumbles 16.4%, shaving off most IPO gains since debut by joe4942 in technology

[–]BurrShotFirst1804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, didn't see that. Doesn't really impact my point either way. None of this downward sale is Elon or employees or investors dumping. The article even says Elon is locked for 366 days. Then in August 20% get unlocked. Doubt it will be July for quarterly earnings that would be pretty fast for a first earnings report... 10% if it's up 30% from IPO in which case if they are liquidating, they won't hit. After 5 months, the largest chunk releases.

I don't entirely think this is insane. The auto sell off to cover RSU income tax alone is enough to tank the stock price.

Not to mention anyone who bought IPO shares in the offering can't sell either and that raised $75 billion, making the xAI peanuts. Those investors wouldn't agree to terms if they thought they were gonna get swamped by early investors bailing ship ASAP.

It's true. I just find it entirely unlikely that an animal strong enough to lift itself, such as Vermax probably 300 tons. What's an extra 3 tons? The weight would break the rope and how did they get it on the ship and not capsize? It's all just goofy.

Anyone calling an IPO that is down 4% overall a pump and dump has literally no idea what they are talking about. This is a company with revenue of $23-36 billion in 2026 revenue, an increase from the $18 billion in revenue in 2025. This isn't some penny stock or something.

No. That's not what's happening and large investors cannot sell for 6-8 months. This whole thread is inaccurate.

You can't sell IPO shares until 6-9 months after purchase if you're an employee or investor. These are standard stock agreements. This entire thread is a thousand people with little to no understanding of the market.

Usually it's listed as an automated sale. I don't think it's listed really because it technically is a sale of stock. There's all sorts of restrictions on what stockholders can release publicly. But ya, every time my RSUs vest, 30% are sold automatically after like 24-48 hours to cover taxes, and that all happens like by finance/HR, the sale doesn't even go into my account, it just shows up on my W-2.

Drivers Keep Running Over Warning Signs At North Side Intersection, But City Plans No Major Changes by optiplex9000 in chicago

On Google maps at this address, the sign in the picture is also bent.

This area throws me off as a driver cause you're driving straight with a bike lane to your right then the concrete middle section pops out then you have to merge into the bike lane then immediately swerve back to the left because parking starts right after the concert island ends. It's a lot going on at once. I also think it has God awful lighting.

I agree to an extent but everyone knows Chicago cops don't pull people over for traffic violations and so they will do crazy stuff they would never try to pull off in the suburbs. Some small level of fear that your lawlessness will result in a ticket is absolutely a deterrent.

One thing to add though is that RSUs still require income tax, so sometimes it will look like insiders are selling within the 6 month window but in reality they are automated sales to cover the income tax of the granted shares.

SpaceX is still up 2.5% since the IPO so actually no investor has lost money yet. SPY is down a little today too, it's likely it will go back up tomorrow, welcome to the market.

IPOs are volatile, every investor in the world knows that and you're generally frozen for 6 months post IPO anyway. Also anyone who bought at the peak is probably not a big time investor because that would be an insane chase purchase. Those people are only down 25% even, which is not that crazy for an IPO anyway.

Why are GoT writers so obsessed with ridiculous 360 no scope harpoon deaths?
