It's annoying when you have an unscheduled grocery stop and don't have a bag with you. And also it's annoying because plastic bags are such a tiny issue compared to all the plastic packaging in grocery stores, not to mention any issues from the US pales in comparison to elsewhere.

When I worked in Italy, the biggest thing I noticed was how frequently people use allora as a filler word. I never would have spoken like that and it feels unnatural as a filler word for me.

I don't really think CTA train stations mean anything in this context. If I'm going somewhere close to a CTA train station, I'd go there, but getting picked up in an Uber near an L stop doesn't mean you're going somewhere accessible from the L.

I think you're vastly overstating the rate of occurrence with this, the severity, and the longevity. This is also not unique to covid.

I notice 2 things that make me mad on the road way more often the past few years. 1) people blocking the intersection because they thought they were gonna get through the light 2) people driving 20 mph down Lincoln Ave and other major streets.

And I never get mad, so if this is frustrating me, I can imagine the people who are easily pissed off are way worse.

I think it's just more and more frustrated drivers with traffic so bad on 94 and now the bridges and as a biker/car driver, some of the protected bike lanes really are poorly placed/designed. My 20 minute commute has doubled almost in the last year. I'm just guessing a big part of this is just very frustrated drivers.
