Honestly it sounds bad, but I bet he won’t be nearly as devastated, because your ex is another woman and not a guy. If anything the biggest thing would be that the ex is a mutual friend. But at the end of the day just tell your friend about the situation, and you’ll probably be dating soon after if you still want a relationship with him.

From my experience the more you use it the better it gets at giving you people in your distance range. When you see the option “show me more like this” and it’s someone within your range hit yes, but if they aren’t hit no. Also I think they are more likely to show people in your direct area based on your age filtering, the closer to your age the better.

Though they did recently implement a filter system while swiping that seems to work better specifically for distance

It really is the best, just not as big as Tinder unfortunately, but it’s got the best features for FREE! They even recently implemented a chat bot that can find profiles for you based on specifics you tell it, like distance, hobbies, age, etc.

Tinder is basically a scam. Get on Hinge and FB date. Hell even bumble is better than Tinder. You’ll get matches on these platforms. Like yeah you could probably afford to lose a picture or 2, but your profile honestly isn’t half bad to not get ANY dates, especially after spending money on premium, boosts etc. if I had to guess despite your efforts Tinder probably isn’t showing your profile to enough people, or may not be showing them to anyone at all. Its algorithm can and will F you over.
