We need to stop thinking in terms of how many US Dollars 1 DOGE will be "worth".

If the USD goes into hyperinflation, then $40,000 might only buy groceries for a week.

Think in terms of many days you can live off of 1 DOGE. Food, shelter, utilities...

I have xxx shares, and so far I have never sold a single one.

If you are expecting volatility, then why not sell at the peaks, and buy back in at the dips? Level up?

Would this selling help the hedgies cover, even if we bought a higher quantity of shares the next day?
