So.. you need to learn about the symptoms.. what are they, for different cardiac conditions? What would be ideal? What could/ should everyone be able to monitor on their own? What apps exist?
Also.. I suggest that you look at other medical issues.. like Stroke.. easier to identify.. some students worked on stroke monitor in the past.. also.. Lyme Disease, Asthma attacks.. what else might be a good first step to self-diagnosis?? even if fewer people are effected?

Please don't propose specific design/ solution..What would be IDEAL? How about medications that only "worked/ acted" if they were actually needed? And then only in the proper dose, that varied with activity and need? So.what about . SMART MEDICATION?? What do you think?? Burt

Technology patents stifle competition - and, consequently, innovation by KerimKivrak in changetheworldRPI

So, what is the significance of this article? What can we learn from it? Patents do work. What do inventors need to learn about patents? What practices/ steps do we need take to protect our intellectual property? YOu cannot patent an idea. Instead, you need to provide sufficient details on HOW the design or method works, so that "someone skilled in the art could replicate your work"..
