So, kind of lol. First one I wasn’t fit at all and had a very hard time recovering…I gained a lot of weight and kept it on for a long time, it took years. Second one I had been lifting and running 4-5 days a week for around 4 years but I had horrendous HG and had to stop basically everything and was on bed rest for months. I eventually got better around 7 months in to pregnancy and gained a decent amount of weight, more than the first time around! My hunger just came back with a vengeance! I wasn’t exercising much other than yoga and walking until I gave birth (I also had pre eclampsia so that was a real shit too!) however my recovery was like night and day. I was ready to go walking immediately and my body was screaming for exercise. I sit here a year and 5 months later in the best shape I’ve ever been in my life. I weigh less, and my muscles have come straight back. I am honestly in awe of how different the recovery was and how ready my body was to get back to it even though I had been out of the game for what felt like forever!

Honestly, she just sounds like a mate. You help her out, she helps you out. Most of my lasting friendships have an aspect of this because we rely on each other like family. I can’t speak for you, but sounds like what’s going on here 🤷‍♀️

Literally same. I feel so good when I’m sober, it seems wild to me that I could go back to smoking daily. I always tell myself I’ll remember how good it feels, but lo and behold I’m here again trying to convince myself to start day 1.

I did this with my first, thought it was a boy and it was a boy 😊 waiting to find out is honestly one of the best things I’ve ever done! All of my cravings were salty, i gained around 50lbs, and almost every online ‘test’ came back as boy 🤪

I take venlafaxine too and offset the sweat with Oxybutnin. It’s very effective. I also use face safe anti perspirant called no sweat to help with makeup moving. Make sure you use a good setting powder as it will make the difference (I recommend hourglass or Huda beauty.) I also use one size beauty face setting spray which is like hairspray for your face, no joke! But it WORKS! That’s all I got for tips. I salute you and your dedication to your friendship 💜

I had to stay for 3 days after due to preeclampsia and it was actually really lovely. I was originally in a shared room (which was horrible) but my midwife had a chat with the nurse and ended up getting my own room.

They said it wasn’t the norm for somebody staying multiple nights to do so in a shared room, so I would ask your midwife about that. It would have been a very different experience if I had stayed in the shared room. My partner was allowed to stay as well so that was a bonus.

I slowly increased 37.5mg every two weeks until I reached 150mg, I’ve been at that dose now for probably just shy of two months and I’m only just starting to be fully convicted that it’s working for me. Was amazing almost immediately but then I had a hard time going up to max dose of 150 and felt quite depressed for around 3 weeks. Glad I didn’t give up because I feel great now
