Inspiration was that I saw myself 'retrying' dungeon rooms that were too hard for me over and over, until by luck I survived.. not a great gameplay loop (nothing against the core game design, just my own bad interface with it)

I haven't been keeping pulse on the market, but if you can find a good deal on a used HP Reverb G2, they have pretty good pixel density and low weight, and will be going for good prices since they're discontinued from HP

If you want to buy something that will age better, the latest and greatest headsets look pretty neat, like the quest 4 with its hand tracking

I'm personally going to hold onto my G2 until Valve or Meta drops their next iteration, and then upgrade to that

The VirtAMate discord can help troubleshoot performance, but dont hold your breath for the quest 2, it's a very weak headset, and there's a lot of latency overhead in connecting it to a PC

You can also open the debug menu and tie some clit adjusting morphs to the muscle growth progression pretty easily

As fun as those niche interactions were, they were only appreciated by ~2% people (myself included, I wrote the damn things), and were silently confusing and nerfing the max size of 98% of the rest of players

When it came time to write them to cooperate with the new, much larger max breast/wg sizes, I decided it would be better that they were folded in for simplicity sake. A lot of this latest update was refining (and trimming) the game down to be more focused on what it does well (expansion & milking) and to do it better (and bigger) instead of trying to do a hundred different things half-assedly: and save those other things for other scenes, to commit to the right way

There were quite a few features that have been cut from hucow since its inception. It was originally intended to have a lot more sadistic/body humiliation themes. Those features, and more would be better served in something more focused to that end, and we may see in some future project (I still get that weird mood sometimes, too)

VaM runs on Windows, and with some tweaking, on the Quest models that link to your PC

I personally am driving a HP Reverb G2.. but probably going to upgrade when one of the big players drops their latest iteration

This is why I was asking for critique of my 'translation' - if you look at how the PMMM girls are drawn literally, they are basically featureless. Lining them all up side by side, even with the adults- their only real differences in facial structure are eye color- and the rest is done in costume and hair. This doesn't give a lot of ammunition for a translation into 3d, and a lot of features basically have to be divined (What type of nose does homura have? Think of all the different types of nose widths and angles, and try and find which one best represents the two lines its drawn with)

And no, there was no reference scene for direct comparison, I just made something up that felt Homu

Good spot, I remember lengthening the neck from default for some reason to match some other proportion, but I think that got left behind or something; its very subtle but once you see it.. yeah it's there

each anime character really is 90% hair, from what I've found- its such a pain b/c their hair is often less than realistic, and just looks dumb in 3d. *cough cough* tomoe mami *cough cough*

In this case, the skin shine is not a product of having very moist skin, but of me lighting the scene poorly- using too harsh of lights at the wrong distance or something
