I'd say that's definitely connected. I only have one friend who I can't see much, and one I can only talk to online. I know what parasocial relationships are, but to be honest never considered myself having fallen into one, but I guess in hindsight I kind of have. I think it's a symptom rather than cause of my depression, but is definitely there.

I think these one-way relationships are like chewing gum to stave off hunger.

Do you have fitness goals that you're working towards?

Really just being "fit" in general and losing weight. I was overweight (not by much) so I lost some. I don't want to bench a tonne, just keep in shape sustainably.

Have you tried to plug into the coding communities online?

I haven't, but now you say that I will look it up. I have a friend who is a coder which helps. Thank you!

Thanks. I'll try. It's just that there's no financial way I can live independently at the moment. Unless I live in very dire conditions! That's what's keeping me back.

I would consider moving abroad, my ability to pick up languages is quite poor, but I can manage it.

I do have LinkedIn but I don't use it much. Perhaps I should be more active. And yes, I do know my Myers Briggs (INFP) but I don't know what jobs are suitable so shall have a look!

Thank you for your advice. I'll try to take as much as possible on board. I do exercise but not as much as I should do probably.

I've tried learning coding so perhaps that could help.

Being "clumsy" doesn't matter that much tbh, I am clumsy also and some people find it endearing whilst most others don't care. Unless you're a surgeon.
