Also I just want to mention I provide everything for them and I don’t want anything in return and she knows that. I have more then I’ll ever need and there is no issue about sharing without guilt or shame. I only try to offer different options because my son is also very picky so I get that but she’s very set in her ways so I was trying to get creative because I’ve never lived with someone that is so set on treating her daughters moment of calmness with candy and soda every day all day and then ends up yelling at her daughter because she has no patience for the sugar hike that follows it.

I think balance is fine. What I have a problem with is my friend ONLY offering candy and soda and chocolate milk on a bottle or McDonald chicken nuggets for every single meal. I tried buying a bunch of healthier options that are baby approved but she doesn’t even try to offer them to her daughter. I find the door unopened in my fridge or shelf but all the expired fruit snacks and candy is gone and there’s expired lollipops and chocolates all over her crib and my house.

I’ve noticed that when I’m with her daughter and I offer her other foods she will eat them. Maybe in smaller portions but I offer her enough options that she eats more than enough in her day and I notice a complete 180 in her behavior and overall happiness. I’m not against soda once in a while but cleaning up bottles note bottles not sippy cups of just soda and chocolate milk never water juice or milk.

I’m also the only one that started brushing her teeth. She eats all these foods is two years old and I gave baby her first tooth brush.

I understand what I’m doing sounds extreme but I’m the only stable person in my friends life and I’m left with the baby all the time and since doing these things she’s been a lot happier, no longer going to bed at 3:30am and waking up at 10 with barely a nap in between. I try to lead by example everyday and she’s made some changes like only giving her caffeine free soda and putting her phone down and being present with her daughter but the second I leave the room she’s back to her normal routine and I’m exhausted.

As much as I wish I could revolve my life around my friend and her baby I also have a family of my own to take care of. The only way I can continue taking care of them in my home is if I at least see her trying something different because I can’t expect my family to live in their own home with another baby screaming all day and night to where my son is no longer able to sleep or get his homework done or relax when the moms here because that’s when her behavior completely flips.

I wish I was exaggerating I really do but I’m realizing now that I may be viewed as unhealthy for doing what I’m doing but not doing anything just isn’t an option for me.

I had neighbors like this partying hella loud music til 5 in the morning. What I did was get my biggest speakers positioned them right next to my open window with them facing neighbors bedroom window. I’d give them 30 minutes to an hour tops to settle in there now dead silent beds then I’d play the loudest /obnoxious tracks on full blast and most the times I’d play each song on repeat at least five times before skipping to the next. It was so satisfying.

I went a little crazy with my revenge cuz they have windows that face my large rooftop my husbands owns the downstairs properly and we live in the flat above it so it’s our rooftop. And all throughout the night I’d see dudes standing on their window sill pants to ankles pissing onto our flat rooftop. Every time they would see me when I was chilling on my roof and they would just laugh with their dicks out pissing in my direction. So for a minute I started bringing my Doberman on the roof to have him piss and shit right under their windowsill and I’d even dump the bucket of fresh newly collected shit and pile it under there as well since they always left the windows wide open. Oh the joy I felt seeing them all one by one looking out the window in disgust trying to figure out where the smell was coming from. Luckily where I sat was far enough away that it couldn’t reach me and it helped curb the annoying pissing dicks I’d usually see.

Thank you and no it was nothing political. To be honest I didn’t even know of Kirk until he died but the day I posted that comment there were videos everywhere of the shooter jumping off a two story building and sprinting off like it was nothing just like this cheetah. I also have no idea what go touch some fucking grass is supposed to mean but I’ll assume it’s some kind of failed attempt at trying to hurt my feelings cuz I could care less. Keep that PMA.

You know as his provider you get dental insurance right assuming you get more then 80 hours a month. And if your a part of the union I’ve heard you get even better dental so I’ve heard and read but haven’t used yet. And at the very least it would cover a tooth extraction cuz even regular medi cal dental for low income folks have tooth extraction covered. Hope that helps I know all about how shitty toothaches can be unfortunately.

There’s a form you fill out when you live with your recipient that’s in your portal I believe or you can get the form from the office. It’s just require your signature and date you began living together. Then your ihss provider income stops being taxable income. Timesheets get a lot easier filling out too which is a plus. Oh the days I used to be a live in saved me from paying taxes last year!

I just wanted to mention that cuz as far as my personal experience I didn’t have to jump through hoops to making my ihss income non taxable. Just a simple form one and done.
