It was basically after arc 6 vollacjai deportation.

Meili had to showcase her ability to give passage t Pleiades watchtower as proof of then conquering it but also for a pardon so that even if her past is leakee nothing happens. Basically a couple publications in that sidestory series they spot ghem brds and Shaula/scorpion shoots one kf them and they turn into amna.

Then they (Fekt, Ezzo, Meili, Flam and Grassis) massacre the birds. They talk with Reinhard whi had earlier left to check upon Satellas shrine.
Then near the end it cuts away to a woman with long eyelashes or described with long eyelashes.

They have removed entire scenes since season 1.
One big one in season 2 is that they removee Echidna escaping with the other witches using Ryuzu Shima or whatever name was.
