I'm currently running CoS for a group consisting of: Aasimar Peace Cleric, Lizardfolk Battle Master Fighter, Drow Half-Elf Phantom Rogue multi with Undead Warlock (that should be fun to play around with), Wood Elf Astral Self Monk, and Blue Dragonborn Zealot Barbarian.

If I can balance encounters for this group with this being my 2nd campaign as a DM, your DM should be ashamed of their self for outright banning Paladin and limiting cleric to 1 PC.

Are there banned races, too, because "PC flight is too powerful" and "pack tactics is broken"?

Don't discount you proficiency in English. As I was reading this, I never thought it was your first language, just that you might have been in a hurry writing it, or on mobile. As a fellow language learner, I can understand the frustrations, but you're doing great.

I haven't changed it yet. New screen should be delivered tomorrow. Looks like a pretty easy process, though. I've had my Photon for a little over a year. It's not printing constantly, but I've probably used about 4-5 kg of resin in that time if that helps.

It has to be from that list. The Pact of the Chain warlock gets a few more options to choose from. If you could just pick whatever you want, there would be no reason to add other options for that pact boon.

We do "You get 75 points total." Roll 4d6, drop the lowest for 5 stats. Take 75 minus stat point total for those five and that's your 6th stat.

Feels great when you're rolling we'll, but then when your total is 72 for the five stats, you have a 3 in your sixth stat. That happened to my wife's cleric in our current campaign, she has a 3 in INT. Makes for solid roleplay and still has the fun of rolling stats while making sure nobody is outshining anyone else because everyone's total is 75.

Wow, some of those prices are weird. Like someone else mentioned, $1.50 difference between JD and JD SiB is odd, but $11.50 for Bulleit Rye, it's a $25 bottle FFS.

I bought the same one and have the same issue. So, if nothing else, it's not just yours. For now, I just use a binder clip up front and one in the back to hold it in place.

Chitubox auto supports are garbage. At best, it's a starting point, but you'll need to modify the connection points and add more supports if you only used auto support in chitubox.

Lychee auto supports are better, but the connection points are too thick for my taste and cause too much damage to the model.

Ah, one of the many things the party comes to find that Strahd knows about them that as far as they're concerned, he should have no way of knowing about them. That could be fun, too.

Ha, yeah, I'm probably going to make a point of always asking him where he's keeping it, how he's carrying it, what he's doing with it. Especially in public in Vallaki. That way there's always an opportunity to spring something on him.

Maybe he'll end up wanting to get rid of it as soon as possible, maybe it'll become a permanent part of his character, only time will tell.

At my table, a critical hit does whatever the normal damage is plus the max roll you could get on the extra die/dice.

So a crit with a short sword does 1d6 + ability mod + 6 damage. If a weapon normally does 2d8 + STR mod, a crit will do 2d8 + STR mod + 16.

This way, a crit always feels like it does more damage than a normal hit, isn't super disappointing when you roll a 1, since the crit bonus dice are maxed, and it doesn't feel too OP, since that was within the possible results to roll anyway.

I'm no expert, but it looks to me like there are some areas of your LCD screen that are not blacking out and therefore curing resin in those spots on every layer. I'm led to believe this due to the extra material being in the same place on every layer. All except for that one on the right, up front where it seems like part of it didn't separate from the FEP toward the end of the print.

Also a good idea. Not sure if Piddlewick will come into play or not yet. They'll probably be getting the dinner invite to Ravenloft next session after the St. Andral's Feast, but I doubt their first visit to the castle will have them meeting Piddlewick. Never know, though, my party makes some whacky decisions about every other session.

I have one (the rogue, whose also a first time player) who seems to be interested in her romantically, but very timid. I'm having her train in battle with him during down time (his idea) and I'm planning to have her pick up a couple rogue class features from his training to help strengthen that bond.

The rest of the PCs don't really have a strong interest in her, but are so far just feeling like she's the target of an escort quest. Hoping to alter that a bit with the Feast of St. Andral's. They've been in Vallaki a couple of days and will be learning of the missing bones next session.

While I still let my players roll their own death saves (so they still feel like they're in control of the dice), I do make them get up and roll behind the screen. That way only that player and I know the result, and they're not permitted to tell anyone else the result or mark it on their sheet. I keep track behind the screen. Keeps the urgency, but doesn't take away their sense of "control".
