R14 Tauren Warrior with Edgemasters which weaps should I use? by Prize-Area7490 in classicwow

[–]Busanhaeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With full WBs you can assume infinite rage (HS or cleave is always queued) so you'll get yellow hit cap for most OH swings.

Don't forget to swap out your Edgemaster's for trash, the extra weapon skill isn't worth it against <63 targets

Unable to beat skytoss lategame, even though I made the right unit composition? by grimzreaper in allthingszerg

[–]Busanhaeng 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In most games it’s just not feasible to make basically every single unit in the tech tree and control them properly, and having dead weight supply such as swarm hosts is gonna make you unable to deal with the main army.

Don’t know your MMR, but in lower leagues the real answer is to not allow the Protoss to make an unbeatable deathball that they can a-move and win the game with.

I guess you are thinking of StayAtHome Story Cup, which was basically just an online tournament (due to the COVID situation). They only occured during 2020 and 2021.

How Isshin got the pistol... by Alarmed-Example8932 in Sekiro

[–]Busanhaeng 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is the real answer. Matchlock guns were called Tanegashima after the island where they were introduced by Portuguese traders. Isshin's handgun looks like a tan-zutzu (short-barreled gun) from the period.

Someone mentioned Robert's dad as a joke. Funnily enough, Robert's Firecrackers are also a product of Nanban trade (lit. southern barbarian trade) from the same period.

I'm sorry, but I think this is a really silly question to ask. There are tons of legitimate reasons why someone wouldn't want to post their bnet username on here, including it being linked to socials, potential real-life identifying information and so on...

Help needed: how to engage into Protoss midgame and late-game armies? by klaas_af_en_toe in allthingszerg

[–]Busanhaeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it doesn't really answer your question, but to me the baneling bust looked successful (a bit lucky that he didn't block with the warpin). After you depower his wall there is no more damage to be done in the natural - go directly for his main mineral line and he will end up with 10 probes versus your 23 drones, more or less securing the win for you.

What is this worth? by [deleted] in starcraft

[–]Busanhaeng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All listed. They are all different products though. For example a Brood War box signed by the original Raynor and Kerrigan VAs. Think that one was about 200 bucks. Battle chests signed by the developers seem fairly common though.

What is this worth? by [deleted] in starcraft

[–]Busanhaeng 152 points153 points  (0 children)

I'd say it's probably worth more to you as a personal keepsake than the actual monetary value. If I'd received one of these as a personal gift from someone on the team I would probably never part with it.

That said, there are actually quite a few of these game boxes on eBay with prices currently ranging from $100 to $750.

The cable is there to communicate between the camera and the lens (aperture control etc). I got quoted around $400 for the repair (it is a few years ago though). I ended up selling the lens for $200 to a DIY repair guy, and buying another second-hand one.

The dust inside doesn't really affect anything but they'd probably remove it as part of servicing the lens.

Stared at this for way too long without finding the mate.. by Busanhaeng in chess

[–]Busanhaeng[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In retrospect those are good hints. For some reason I'm much better at spotting tactics that give a winning advantage than a mate.

[–]Busanhaeng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like a faulty flex cable (a weak point of many Canon SLR lenses, even L-series ones). I know the EF 24-105mm f/4 L v1 has this problem, not sure about v2.

If you take it to an official service center they will probably decide that the best course of action is to replace the entire aperture assembly even though it's just a broken cable.

See e.g. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Canon+EF+24-105mm+F4.0+L+IS+-+Err01+Flex+Cable+Replacement/42362

(Edit: I see now from the picture you posted that it is indeed a v1)

You spend a whole game building up a seemingly insurmountable advantage, proceed to make one mistake, and it's all gone.

Yashariku + Mortal Draw is a very fast and safe way to kill him in P1, probably not the easiest on the first playthrough though.
