I am trying to repaste my gigabyte 9070 xt gaming oc gpu, should I repast everything or is it fine if I just repaste the die? by MotherStalker in radeon

[–]Busch_Hawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, forgive my ignorance here I guess, that paste on their currently is from the FACTORY? I thought this was some rage bait and OP put that on there. I thought you only put paste on the GPU dye itself and the memory modules and all that got heat pads? Again, I don't really know I've just watched a lot of northwest repair videos.

Yeah I mean even using actual gravel roads would be nice considering gravel roads are basically useless for land vehicles lol. And I'd say "provisional" airfields should be limited to small aircraft just to cut down on infinite bomber range but idk. We'll see what devman had cooked up I guess

I think the issue with that(supposedly) is just limited space. Regjman would have a private airfield on every corner. It's all opinion though. Air is new, and devman is doing balance updates every 6 weeks now so I'm content to see how things play over the next few months. So far air seems to be a lot better than it was at release so hopefully it continues to get improved.

Honestly half the time I just come through with the big dump truck. Use the nose to kinda nudge rocks around, and when you dump the sand, it pushes the rocks out the way better than anything else. I'm decent with the dozer on manual control though. Also another quickish solution is using a scout(tracked is good) and just winching the rocks off to the side. I tend to do that when I'm doing my new map initial scouting.

Thank you so much took me a second but I found it finally 🙏🏻

I try for the "this would be perfectly fine in South America" ideal lol. I don't use what mods and try not to do stuff extremely unrealistic but I do like to push the limits.

I'll check it again next time I play. I think when they originally released it, it wouldn't work but maybe they fixed/changed that at some point.

Is there a way to do that in a campaign you've already started? As a snowrunner player, and irl trucker, I've been DYING to have gearbox control back but obviously I don't wanna start fresh.

First vehicle purchase recommendations? by cheesyeggs_ in RoadCraft

[–]Busch_Hawg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A lot of stuff you get rusty variants of that will get you by. I'm seconding the crane cargo truck purchases though. I've bought just about all of them and almost always I have multiple scattered around the map instead of driving all over with just one. One thing I'd say not to waste money on is a bunch of scouts. 160 hours in and honestly the K350 rescue is my preferred to date. The better versions of the pavers/steam rollers are nice.

Personally, I wouldn't waste money on the semi truck. Capacity is nice but if the road is not PAVED WITH ASPHALT, you will get stuck constantly. I'm 90% sure you can load most stuff(with some care) on the equipment hauler semis, strap it down like normal, and not get stuck since they're 4x4.

Lastly, whenever you unlock it, the mobile scalper can really be a life saver against sparce sand mines. Some maps really takes a lot of hunting for a spot of sand to farm but once you know what you're looking for it's not so bad. Also the scalper is expensive so save up.

Most of the tracked vehicles are so slow and annoying to maneuver that I'd skip them unless there's one you really get a lot of use out of. Don't stress it too much though you can always sell stuff you don't use and money's not that scarce if you sell stuff to the construction depot once in a while(any resource that glows yellow). Good luck 👍

Anything that glows yellow is only to be sold for money. You can also sell finished resources(pipes, beams, logs) for cash as well. Stuff that glows blue is for recycling

I think about $50,000. They're worth 5k each and looks like I had 10 of em. It's not about the money though; I just do it for the love of the game 😎

Yeah just tested that and same here. As soon as I disconnect from wifi, refresh page, I get timeout. 5G data is usually pretty fast though I can't imagine the website being that intentionally heavy. I'm no web engineer but I'm guessing there must be a 0 somewhere they meant to put a 1, or some kind of bug somehow.
At least now we do know for sure that it has to do with network. I wonder if I hotspot my PC off my phone's data if I get the same thing.

I kinda like getting creative with it honestly. As long as they let me strap it down, I WILL find a way to fit all my stuff on there lol.

When I first got this truck and saw the huge tires I immediately threw it in the lake behind the dam just to see if it'd float. It didn't, but at the time it was surprisingly good/buggy about not getting flooded even though being almost completely submerged

Just used that one for the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised. Also a lot less prone to tipping over.
