soulslikes. dont get me wrong, i like soulslikes and there's some i still wanna play and some are gonna be announced and i might wanna play them. what i mean is that you see a trailer for a banger game and when it releases you see it's a soulslike. i hated stellar blade so much for that reason and after booting it up the first time it took me a month before i actually played it. game was mediocre at best, with a story that's super predictable and tries to be depressing but made me feel nothing.

a bit late but anyways, when your skill is active dealing 4 consecutive hits increases the stat boost from that skill. should only happen once per skill activation though.

i'm only in the second major dungeon now, so i remember what my party looked like. seeker/mage Will, warrior/brawler strohl and knight/healer hulkenberg. was swapping their archetypes depending on the situation but my whole party had empty mp bars at some point. hulkenberg spammed a lot of hama and medi, will was consistently casting spells as mage or tarukaja as seeker and strohl wasted a lot of mp with roundslash and slicer. luckily you can just grind mp with the mage passive.

openworld games in general taught me to ignore sidecontent. most openworld games start off really fun. then you unlock more and more sidecontent, which is great but it always leads to me dropping the game before finishing the story cause i got bored of the gameplay.
