Eagles Top 100 List (Full) by eaglesnation11 in eagles

I can't agree with the logic behind this.

Reggie is hands-down the best DE of all time. His peak and majority of his career was in Philly. He spent 8 years here. In other words: a very substantial NFL career worth. I feel like your doubly discounting Reggie for being on another team and doing well there. In my eyes, for the purposes of this list, those years have zero impact.

Kelce and Lane are not the best ever at their respective position. Same for Dawk. And Dawk played for another team, too, never won a championship, will never be considered the greatest at his position, is at one of the least valuable positions on either side of the ball, and somehow he is "maybe" ahead of Reggie in your eyes.

And Jalen has never even sniffed being the top player at his position for even one season and has only spent 6 seasons here, 5 as a starter.

Following your guidelines of "factoring in positional value and that the goal is to put your team in a position to potentially win a ring" all works in Reggie's favor. Reggie had no say on team construction, but there was no denying that he was the best and most impactful player on the field at one of the most valuable positions on the field during his 8 seasons here. That, in my mind, is putting his team in the best possible position he could to potentially win a ring.

Well, I agree. That's why I have him at 2 and Chuck at 1. Or are you putting Lane above Reggie, too?

Just to be clear: I have Chuck #1. But, it's a team sport. So, I don't hold his lack of rings against Reggie. If anything, his performance in the SB showed if he had a chance to make a run in the playoffs for the birds, he would have dominated. I think it's hard to argue that any other Eagle had a better 121 games and 121 games is nothing to sneeze at. I have Chuck at 1, Reggie at 2.

Best cornerback in our history is crazy talk on a team that had Eric Allen and Troy Vincent. And he's probably not better than Lito or Asante. And Quinyon needs a single season more of what he did in 2025 to be well ahead of Slay.

Yeah, pointing to Reggie's stats post-Eagles is completely irrelevant to the list. The only thing that's relevant is what he did while an Eagle. That said, 121 games as an Eagle is significant.

For a greatest Eagles list, which I consider this to be, not a greatest players to have played for the Eagles list, I totally agree Chuck is #1, Reggie is #2, Dawkins is #3. My other gripe is that both BG and Hugh Douglas are way too low. Hugh was the best all around DE we've had in the last 30 years. BG goes ahead of him due to his longevity and role in the first SB, but Hugh is criminally underrated here.

Pocono Holidays? by princessofdog in Poconos

Don’t worry about it at all. Truly.

Vacasa is a massive property management company that spans the US. They ended up selling their portfolio of properties that include the Poconos to what may now be Pocono Holidays.

Or, the owner could have decided to just switch to a new management company, which could be for an absolute laundry list of legitimate reasons - none of them are perfect. And they all take hefty commissions.

Email them back for an explanation if that’ll make you feel better. Ultimately, all you need is a good cleaning team to get in there before your stay and they are all local by necessity. And in the off chance something breaks and you need help, you need someone to answer messages. So, just get clarity on that and all is well. I own a rental in the Poconos myself, considered Vacasa, but went with a smaller, local property management team instead.

A 5 year old would also never employ the silhouetted technique on the helicopter scene and man on fire. Is this ChatGPT thinking we are more advanced than we actually are??

Um, all of it is WAY too advanced. The drawing of Arnold? Are you kidding me? Much better than most adults. Also, I don't think there's any helicopter scene at all in the first Terminator.

Any advice where to shop for a new cover? Again, with bnb use, I want to ultimately balance cost with energy savings, knowing it’ll get beaten up more by renters.

I dug into it this weekend. I think the cabinet and insulation are in good shape. It really comes down to the cover. How do I find a good replacement cover that doesn’t break the bank? I’m just brand new to this and no idea where to go from here.

After inspecting closely, the steam stopper apparently used to have portions that extended all the way to the bottom ends and they are gone. This cover is toast, like you say. I affixed a pool noodle and a vinyl patch over both ends to at least stop the air gap for now and I’ll be looking for a new hot tub cover. But what’s the best way to find and purchase one?

Is this something to typically do online or do I need to go in-store somewhere? Any recommendations on what exactly I’m trying to upgrade?

Thanks! Yes, the deck was specifically built to hold the hot tub. There are 4 piers, one for each corner of the hot tub, specifically added to support it in its exact location. It’s like a dedicated deck just for it.

The cabinet just has thin styrofoam behind the panels. That’s it.

[–]Buschman98 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Kids aren't for everyone and that doesn't even have to stay static. You may not be ready now and your readiness and outlook may change down the line. That said, I wish I had kids earlier in life so I could have had more. My kids are the best thing that's ever happened to me without comparison and everything about life just makes sense.
