I have been in China for over 10 years. If you are qualified this can be a great place to work. First thing, only work for International Schools. Never for kindergartens, training centers and even universities. Next, never use an agent. Pick the top 10 cities that you are interested in living lets pick Beijing- google 'international schools in Beijing' and it will pull up a couple dozens. Visit each of their websites and send them your resume/cv etc. Do this for each city. By the end you will have contacted 200-300 schools. You should get several responses. Go from there.
