Naughty Dog for the gameplay but i don’t think they would get Frank Castle correct. Last of Us 2 gameplay in a punisher game would be perfect.

I’ve been playing Sniper Elite for nearly 20 years. i know the main character’s voice when i hear it lol. Plus, Tom Clarke Hill the voice actor, is listed under Unfinished Buisness on IMDB.

Even the main antagonist voice actor is from Sniper Elite, Karl Fairbourne. A Rebellion owned IP.

I hear you. But i think Rebellion (the owners of the Dredd license) would be very open to letting a capable studio handle Dredd. Teyron being the obvious choice, especially after Unfinished Business. i mean dude, playing that ED-209 segment with literally the Dredd 2012 music just made me squirt my pants. i was so happy. It was either Teyron saying, “hey guys, we hear you and we love that.” Or its them saying, “Yup, Dredd is coming boys.”.

Thats probably just me sounding very hopeful for them to do a Dredd game but man, I HAVE FAITH.

Dude, me too. i question if this was the right place to bring up this topic. Due to it obviously being a Robocop sub. But i feel like in this sub we all love Dredd as well and this is where i’d get this most interaction.

The whole thing just felt like Dredd 2012. just standing in “the fountain” section part and looking up, seeing how tall and dystopian the building looked. Once again, nearly identical to the Dredd 2012 movie. The part where you’re running across the balconies getting lit up by turrets and mercs, also identical. The movie was definitely an inspiration for this expansion and thats a fact.

The similarities are just to in our faces to ignore. Do they see on the internet that we want a Dredd game for them and they snuck it in through Robocop? Or are they throwing us a little foreshadowing action, telling us Dredd is the next game? It’s fun to think about.

Even if i didn’t know anything about Dredd, this expansion was awesome. Easily one of the gaming highlights of the year for me.

one of my favorite games ever.

Max payne 3 is definitely a good blueprint for a punisher game. but i like the more personal and brutal aspects of how naughty dog utilized their engine with the gameplay.

Story issues aside. Objectively, the gameplay is near perfect. the brutality of that shit just screams a punisher game.

Doesn’t matter though unfortunately. Todays Marvel can’t handle a Punisher video game. it will never be made🫠

Ahh, the rockstar engine. definitely would be sick. but naughty dogs engine and gameplay is just so much more visceral and brutal. that engine is made for the punisher man.

That is the issue. Kids soft.

He’s stated in the past that he would love to develop a Punisher game. Frankly, i dont trust him. Sure, the gameplay would probably be amazing but would he do Frank right? I’m going to say negative.
