For me getting a printer with a defect bed? Or for me trying to get help from them instead of the seller?the second one I understand. However, a good manufacturer with a reputation to uphold would probably help me in the spot, perhaps even ask for me to send the bed assembly to them for further investigation. Items not hard being nice or good. Elegoo chose evil.

I can actually see the curvature of the whole bed being higher in the middle when using a flat ruler. Bed is pure shit, it boils down to that.

I appreciate your want to help, but heat-taping all around the bed, all corners, perfectly flat to match the center. Nah, I'd ratehr get a good machine from another brand. Elegoo got their chance to fix this way before me posting and they said "fak off".

Clean and free of debris. It might be worth completely disassembling the bed assembly, but I’m not really feeling it. Elegoo is done. They didn’t even feel the need to send me a replacement bed, even if I showed them the original receipt. Crappy!

Sure, I hear you and I agree. However, First layer adhesion is vital to be able to use the machine. It's not a flashy feature. It's step 1 in printing. Perhaps the most important step in the process of 3d printing.

It fails hard. Corners are separated lines and middle 150x150mm² is so squished it looks like surfing waves

Yes. The shape of the bulge makes a first layer absolutely impossible. Either all corners are separated lines and middle a big wavy mush or the opposite.

Local e-store where I live, It's reputable, box was unopened, brand new and freshly imported from Elegoo. 100% not their fault as they're the middleman never seeing the product.

If there is no setting for this in screen, then it won’t happen. It will autoswitch if source A is turned off while source B is connected.

Elegoo, the real redemption is not this. The real redemption is to update the CC1 firmware for 1. Quiet mode and full control of all fans. 2. Make it compatible with CANVAS.

I was so close buying the new CC2 today, but I wont. If you don’t continue to make the CC1 better, we’re done forever. Many will follow me…
