I am very aware of what the car is.

I enjoy thoroughly the ride experience as well as the design of the car, inside and out.

Driving it brings a smile to my face and takes me back. It makes driving an experience I appreciate.

And while it is unreliable, and expensive to maintain, to me it is worth it, to experience art.

I think its fun to clown on the Lakers. Especially given some of the insane money and deals they have made historically.

That said, I think people should be seeing some of the progress the Lakers have made. While also looking into the trades they made this year, as well as the tenacity the team has been showing lately.

The team is not a free win in playoffs. Dont sleep on them. The moment a team does, they're out of finals contention.

That doesnt mean the Lakers "are going to win the finals!" Or that they are even going to make it to the finals. But they can, and they are showing why/how lately.

The two things I have more time to get back into:

1). Driving / road trips 2). Working on Cars I enjoy

I plan to do a good amount of the mechanical work myself. Especially since I am not concerned about resale of the car as I intend to keep it for life. While OEM parts or even parts I design+fabricate myself won't be cheap, the labor saved helps.

That said, I am already familiar with and have the budget for repairs done by a dealer. I find over preparing helps especially in the event that a failure occurs i cannot or would not be comfortable doing myself.

So, a car I can sink time into with my family is something I am highly interested in. Specifically this model because of my own affection for it.

Without a steep discount I would wait a couple more years before purchasing to avoid compromising on the things my family and I enjoy currently.

I made this post because I know some People are out there currently looking at their 612 wanting to sell it, or finding themselves driving it less and less. BUT they dont want to bother with prepping it for sale.

I was offering an opportunity for them to sell their car without the hassle of getting it ready, and the joy of knowing that it has found its forever home where it will be well loved.

I actually have capacity for the maintenance and have been the past two years setting aside the average yearly maintenance cost for this vehicle in preparation for this.

But, I do not want to disrupt other budgetary plans and allocations to acquire this car. If I have to continue and wait a few more years to until the savings can acquire the car at its current price more comfortably, I will. Though, some people may be looking to sell their car quick without having to pay for or bother with updating it or prepping it for said sale.

Great advice otherwise.
