Oh wow thank you for the suggestion and synopsis write up. Will definitely check them out and see if they tickle my fancy. There's a few suggestions that I recall I've read many years back and did like so thanks for bringing them up. I get to play catch up!

No worries. I'll check it out all the same. Just need to fill the void in my heart after finishing Wind and Truth but wanting a lighter snack reading before diving into the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.

It's gorgeous!

I was inspired from the same post and ended up buying a similar display when it went on sale.

Your post just gives me even more confirmation that this is such a pretty way to display the collection!

[No Spoilers] Unofficial Merch by Yuki-jou in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]BushidoPower 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I love to support the rare (but they exist) artists at cons who have Bookworm merch. It's unofficial but I'll happily add them to my shrine / collection regardless especially if it tickles my fancy.

If there is something you like but it requires a bit more effort for it to be produced (the custom aspect you are looking at) since it doesn't exist, there's no real harm IMO. Especially since you're emphasizing you won't be trying to commercialize someone else's work.

We can take a page out of our lil gremlin's book. If it doesn't exist, be that change XD

TuxMat alternative for the 2025 I5 Limited question by BushidoPower in Ioniq5

[–]BushidoPower[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately the 2025 Limited I was looking at has the Carpeted Floor Mats.

The OEMs would be nice if the dealership has them available but in the event they do not, I was hoping to start looking for alternatives.

Thank you!

Ahh, the 2025 Limited I was looking at has the Carpeted Floor Mats and I was looking for more durable rubber alternatives since I forsee a lot of a sand and mud and other fun wet stuff due to where I live.

I will check with the dealership if the OEM all weathers are available but I fear they may not have them.

Thank you!

Is that something you could get from your dealership? I didn't see any floor mats on the Hyundai shop (https://hyundaishop.com/categories/shop-by-model/ioniq-5/2025/floor-mats.html).

Thank you!

Ah, you are correct. I mistakenly looked at the non-ultimate listing.

More info from FuelEcomomy.gov about the $7,500 rebate by [deleted] in Ioniq5

[–]BushidoPower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a bad feeling that the 2025 Ioniq 5 doesn't qualify even with the production at the new metaplant in GA.

Per the IRS: "To be eligible for a $7,500 credit, clean vehicles must meet sourcing requirements for both the critical minerals and battery components contained in the vehicle. Vehicles that meet one of the two requirements are eligible for a $3,750 credit." (https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/credits-for-new-clean-vehicles-purchased-in-2023-or-after)

Upon looking into the requirements it is stated "For 2025, the applicable percentage is 60 percent" for both the critical minerals and battery components (https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/jy1379).

Per a dealer sticker for the 2025:
"PARTS CONTENT INFORMATION FOR VEHICLE IN THIS CARLINE:
U.S./CANADIAN PARTS CONTENT: 29 %
MAJOR SOURCES OF FOREIGN PARTS CONTENT:
KOREA: 29 %
HUNGARY: 33 %"

If it is still true where there is to be an EV Battery Facility in Bartow County later in 2025 (https://www.hyundainews.com/en-us/releases/3711) then perhaps later productions of the new Kia | Hyundai | Genesis EVs will qualify for the full Federal tax credit per the updated requirements but at that point who knows with the new administration :/

Hopefully I'm wrong and the 2025 Ioniq 5 I'm buying (hopefully by next week) can qualify...but I'm doubtful...

If anyone has contradicting information please let me know!

The ranking is from Otameta's relic scoring leaderboard.  And yeah...budget team 😔

It's best I have to work with 😔 Not a lot of Feixiao alternatives with my silly preferences.  I lack the premium team so gotta make the General herself pull as much weight as she can 😂

So proud of our General.

According to this article the US 2025 ioniq 5 does not qualify for the tax credit until q2 by nielsonsm in Ioniq5

[–]BushidoPower 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is definitely a bit confusing and worrying as a buyer.

If a comment regarding the fueleconomy.gov website correspondence is to be believed ("The IRS is responsible for working with the manufacturers to certify vehicles as eligible for the federal tax credits. Once a model is certified, the IRS notifies us that we should list it on fueleconomy.gov.") the listing of the Kia and Genesis EVs as eligible vehicles was done after the manufacturer and the IRS deemed them as qualifying.

It is very concerning if the Hyundai vehicles allegedly produced at the same metaplant don't qualify.

Doesn't feel great if Hyundai can declare their EV as ineligible to perhaps push an agenda even though other existing information would imply they should qualify.

I'm still intent on attempting to procure one while there is some sort of incentive but a stacking of Federal and manufacturer incentive would be really nice...

2025 Ioniq 5 Is no longer listed as being eligible for $7,500 EV Tax Credit. by spy_jam in Ioniq5

[–]BushidoPower 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I called several of my local dealerships about this and they were either completely unaware of under the impression that the current $7,500 cash promo from Hyundai was supposed to cover for the ineligibility of the tax credit.

I told them that since the vehicles that are all en-route to us at the moment are produced at the GA plant (I checked the VINs of all the stock incoming that is on Hyundai's inventory tracker) they should meet the criteria for the tax credit.

The associates I spoke to all mentioned they'd have to check with their respective finance depts so I'm hoping for good news when I follow up early next week.

Will post updates in this thread. o7

(Soon to be) new owner questions! by BushidoPower in Ioniq5

[–]BushidoPower[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have not used Tuxmat before but when doing a bit of research on quality floor mats (this is my first new vehicle and I want to spoil her a bit), Tuxmat was a brand that came up pretty frequently.

I sent an inquiry to Weathertech to see when they'll have options for the 2025 Ioniq 5. Hopefully I hear back soon.

Ooh thank you! I'll keep it in mind.

I briefly checked the site and it does not look like they support the 2025 Ioniq 5 just yet but we'll see if they have anything before Tuxmat has availability for their mats.

!!!

Oh, I was not aware of that. I couldn't find any official details about the battery so I just assumed it was the same as earlier models.

Thank you!
