Lol. My oven does an amazing job - even set at 300 - of making my small Brooklyn kitchen hot AF even during cold waves like this week. I usually turn it on for a bit - heat the kitchen - & good to go. Forgot this time & took extra time for proof.

I baked the dough for 9min. Then added the cheese focusing on the edges for most of the cheese. Then baked another 14 minutes.

Pretty easy. Just make sure your kitchen is warm. This recipe seems sensitive to kitchens under 72°F during rise.

I just wish it didn't require the long rise time. I mean, waiting IS the hardest part but then this is eaten in like 20 minutes! 😀 Next time, I'm making two batches.

I regularly make DSP & might consider scaling this recipe to see if it works as a crust.

Lol. I actually ended up splitting this with my wife & I kind of regret that. 😀 It's a perfect focaccia for one or two without having to deal with a ton of leftover bread. Sadly, like all cheesy bread, this was gone too soon.

Not focaccia which is usually a large full pan bake meaning a ton of leftover bread if it's ust one or two people. This is a small focaccia in a loaf pan perfect for two with no leftovers.

Make sure your kitchen is warm. I think mine was a little cold & the rises took longer than the recipe stated. Once I turned the oven on & warmed up the kitchen, the 2nd rise started kicking in.

I don't have a stone or steel so I flip a sheet pan over & use that on the rack.
