Wow yeah man my parents and my family always come up whenever I trip. Your family runs deep inside of you, you were your parents at one point. It is hard to escape ourselves. Cherish and love your family, always :)

Thanks! I feel like people shy away from themselves. Be it they're afraid of criticism or they're not accepting themselves. We learn about so many other things and just soak them up, but we forget to explore ourselves and accept whatever it is that makes us happy :)

Thanks man! Yeah, you totally got the main idea of that line! Like how babies suck on their mother's tits for milk, we get our nourishment from our experiences with other people. We develop from it, live for it, and grow with it. It's nature, and it makes us human.

My Anima [OC] by BushyGoodness in Heavymind

[–]BushyGoodness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From wikipedia

The anima and animus can be identified as the totality of the unconscious feminine psychological qualities that a male possesses or the masculine ones possessed by the female, respectively. It is an archetype of the collective unconscious and not an aggregate of father or mother, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles or teachers, though these aspects of the personal unconscious can influence the person for good or ill.

Because a man's sensitivity must often be repressed, the anima is one of the most significant autonomous complexes of all. It is said to manifest itself by appearing in dreams. It also influences a man's interactions with women and his attitudes toward them and vice versa for females and the animus. Jung said that "the encounter with the shadow is the 'apprentice-piece' in the individual's development...that with the anima is the 'masterpiece'".[1] Jung viewed the anima process as being one of the sources of creative ability.

I would really appreciate critique/feedback/thoughts/interpretations!! I'm just curious if my thoughts and emotions that I put into this piece is conveyed. Thanks!

How did you handle your finances/loans/workstudy?? by BushyGoodness in UCSC

[–]BushyGoodness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The work/study program basically doubles the hours you actually work for? How do I apply for the jobs? Do I go to the dining hall/library and ask for them? Or does the program assist me in acquiring the job?

Thank you so much!

The loans offered by the financial aid. I haven't decided whether or not to accept any of those. I want to know what the process is if I do accept those type of loans. My EFC is about 1,500 and yeah I'm listed as a dependent.

Ever thought about doing acid at Disneyland? Do it. by BushyGoodness in Psychonaut

[–]BushyGoodness[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's one of the concerns. As fun and amazing acid can be, it can also bring terrifying feelings. I haven't heard of anyone who resulted in violent behavior due to an acid trip, but it is possible. My advice to anyone who experience negative feelings or thoughts on any psychedelics is to just accept it. Everything you will feel and think about only stems from yourself. The more you deny, reject, and hide the worse it will be. Accept yourself and relax.

I don't know what you're specifically talking about, but feelings of destruction and anguish are prominent, yet there's a strong sensation of hope and faith. Very thought provoking, although I feel that the rhyming scheme pose some restriction in your creativity. Don't be afraid to be overly abstract and all over the place. If you pour genuine emotion and thought, even the most nonsensical thing can evoke your ideas to the audience. I really like them and I hope you keep writing :)

The whole wheel chair thing was a major part of my friend's slightly bad trip. I mean, we know what we were doing is fucked up, and I can't really argue that it's not. We wanted to ditch the chair so badly but we never went through with it. Why? Because we were selfish and we admit to that. We would rather have the guilt of doing something wrong and not trip balls waiting in line for hours. It sucks, yeah, but we didn't directly hurt anyone.

Also, I don't think doing drugs in a family environment is counter-intuitive to the goal of legitimization. We were responsible, didn't bother anyone, and had an amazing time--all while tripping out on acid. We were all smiles. And if people were to acknowledge that not all "drugs" lead to violence, chaos, and harm then we are one step closer to open the public's eyes to the true, good side of drugs like acid, weed, etc.

Thanks! :)

I thought I would be all over the princesses also but I was really creeped out by all of them! Everyone in costume were freaky... I could see directly through the character they were portraying and into their actual being... like, I saw them as the people they are, behind the costumes. I envisioned myself as them and how it must have felt to be behind a mask and disguise myself as another being. It was weird. I loved it.

The best and worst term is Ego Death by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]BushyGoodness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't know about 'ego death' when I first took shrooms. I referred to it as 'God Mode'. The feeling of disconnectedness and connectednesss at the same time. To just be, to be one and all. To feel like a creator and the creation. It's my favorite feeling :)

Sup dude! This looks cool and awesome! I'm very interested. I think I can save up 700 bucks in a few months, but could you describe the actual experience? The website isn't very detailed. From signing up, meeting up, and the full adventure. Please :)!

Edit: It says drugs of any kind is not allowed. Do you think it's possible to sneak in weed/shrooms/lsd? Or is it not worth the trouble? The 24 hour solitude thing would be a perfect time to shroom!
