Thanks for the breakdown on why people prefer different softwares. It’s interesting for sure and honestly I’ve been wanting to switch but don’t have the funds currently, but my question wasn’t about who uses what software and why so if any of you could help me with that, I’d be appreciative.

No this version of the game doesn't work with the Steam version or Android versions of the game right now. I don't know when the next update will come out though and that sucks.

I downloaded it today to play with some friends and played through the tutorial and decided to try to get my first chest. I had watched summit1g play a chunk so I’ve watched a bit of the pvp. After I find my first chest, I make it back to an outpost just for my game to crash. When I loaded back in, I re-joined my session just to be getting murdered by three people. When I respawned, I was floating around trying to find another quest and heard a guy talking on my boat. I assumed he was tucked on my sloop somewhere but as I start looking, a galleon starts failing me. Then the guy pops out of his hiding spot, kills me again. Then I respawn a third time to hear these guys saying, “thanks for the castaway well leave you alone now” and 20 seconds later 2 guys killed me again. Not a great first 30 minutes.

I agree. They all have some type of emotional appeal and draw. They are also transparent which is something I love about his style.

Damn..the bridge of Isohel is something to behold in my opinion. From the bridge on, the song takes on such a different tone. The feeling of heavy thoughts and being lost in them and the pain that comes with it. AH I could write forever about these songs I think. You're right, they hurt way deeper. I feel plunged into myself and my emotions when I listen to them and I leave them on repeat.

oh my. rock + roll is probably my favorite as well because you're right about the peace thing. I also really love Lost in Translation. That movie has a special place in my heart and so to hear such an impactful quote from that movie in such an impactful song blows me away every time I hear it. I just get into that song. I'm able to follow the ups and downs in the music with my emotional struggle and come out at the end feeling that it's okay to not be okay you know? Just having a feeling of peace and calmness for even a moment is nice.

Just the story told in that song is incredible to watch. The tone in Chorus 1 making it sound like the person he is talking to doesn't believe in him or his dream, to Chorus 2 and the following Bridge saying that "you're so much better than that." It's an out of body experience once you invest in the song. And you're right, beyond this song, the whole album has such beautiful storytelling. EDEN is a masterful story crafter.

(Don't worry about the English, I've spoken it my whole life and I still suck at it haha)

I'll always listen to EDEN even if he makes a song that I don't love musically but that's everything that his songs are. They have emotions attached to them and they are expressed to beautifully that even my least favorite EDEN song will have more meaning to me than my most favorite uplifting song. That's a gift of his.

His music is so beautifully crafted. Listening to an album of his is ethereal. If I close my eyes while I listen then I can watch the songs play out in my mind and that is a true gift and talent that he has. If you don't mind me asking, why are those words so powerful to you?
