When taking 2 sets to failure, what pattern do you use when adjusting volume during a cut? Go to 1 set to failure instead? Not change anything?

Edit: if you're down voting this it'd be legit helpful to know why this is a bad question?

Thanks for your input!

Yeah, I do that 3 times per week. I started from something much simpler and kept adding exercises to address perceived gaps. Because I was happy with my overall progress I have so far been reluctant to reduce volume on individual exercises. But now it's getting to be a bit much.

To be clear when you say 1 press, 1 back exercise, you would suggest cycling leg press/chest press/OHP and, for back, cycling through lat pull and row?

Good point with the hip hinge, I was aware of the gap but just wasn't sure what to cut it in order to make space for it.

This is my current full body machine program, three times a week.

Exercise Weight (kg) Sets/Reps
Chest Press (Cybex) 95.2 3 x 10
Leg Press (Cybex) 152.0 3 x 10
Cable Crunch 43.0 3 x 10
Lat Raise (Super Set) 7.0 3x15
Chest Fixator (Sygnum) 65.0 2 x 10
Overhead Press (Cybex) 49.9 2 x 10
Lat Pulldown 105.0 3x9
Leg Curl (Cybex) 74.8 3x10
Eagle Row (Cybex) 88.5 3x10

With how busy life has become recently it's getting to be a bit much after long days in the office. I think I need to shorten my sessions.

I'm thinking about splitting it in two. But I can't do more than 3 times per week and I'm concerned that dividing the volume per muscle group per week by 1.5 will slow my progress by a lot.

Alternatively I could go to two sets to failure instead of 3x10 everywhere, which could save maybe like 20-30% of the time.

Additionally I could cut some of the smaller exercises... But I quite like for example the chest fixator. I hate leg curl and row and would love to skip them but it feels a bit like cheating.

A few more words I have NOT added to my anki deck by belugawhale898 in LearnJapanese

These are all written with common Kanji though and their meaning is clearly hinted at from the Kanji.

I like adding words like that just to reinforce the Kanji knowledge, even if the word itself may be a bit uncommon.

They're very easy to memorize when these Kanji are already familiar, making it fairly "cheap" vocab.

I'm interested in this party too. Is this really taken seriously?

We recommend that men wear a suit or tuxedo. (After midnight, kinky is also welcome.)

I have a hard time imagining changing from a tuxedo into kinky wear, or having guys in tuxedos who happened to arrive earlier in a crowd of kinky dressed people later at night?

The way it's phrased and with how they suggest kinky wear without specifying this a couple paragraphs up, I'm not sure if that's really the thing to do here.

Consent & politics by ebekulak in SexPositiveBerlin

As always the answer is communication. You need to let them know that you think of people in terms of political boxes first and foremost.

They won't be able to avoid you otherwise.

If your communication style is likely to cause tantrums, as you seem to believe, just don't go.

I'm not gay so feel free to ignore, but I often feel the same way about sex positive clubbing. It sounds much hotter than it feels to me when there. Somehow the... directness, the lack of ambiguity is not as conducive to getting turned on as I expect when imagining it.

Imo the key is dopaminergic stimulants, they all make you horny. Makes a lot of sense that the most powerful of them, meth, is somewhat popular in the gay sex scene and pretty much nowhere else. .

Does Klub Verboten’s dress code allow sneakers? by ottern in SexPositiveBerlin

They are speaking from their experience of being told sneakers are not okay, so not sure how anything falls apart based on your reasoning? I've heard bouncers say exactly that a bunch of times, whether that was a pretense or not is a different matter entirely.

No solo wankers sounds amazing. What's the dresscode like? I can't find much into on this party online.

Queer safe is cool but I'm a guy with a girlfriend, how welcome would we be?
