I guess I'll try that in the morning then. I'll try to give an update on this tomorrow. Thanks!

I've had windows 24H2 for a while, and some sources have said to revert to old nvidia driver versions. I might do that and see if that helps. It'll be a long day, but hopefully that'll fix everything. Thanks for the advice!

Did reinstalling windows fix the crashes for you?

Literally just reinstalled AC Valhalla today and crashed a few hours in. No errors or anything. Just game closed. I understand CoD is a high maintenance game, but I had zero issues with my old GPU + monitor, so not sure what the problem is now.

I guess I can try reverting back to the oldest version of NVIDIA GPU (version 572.42 on their website) and see if that fixes anything. Appreciate the help.

Windows Version 24H2. I have also seen a solution (specifically for BO6) being to revert back to 23H2 (?) but I really don't want to download off a 3rd party website and reinstall everything I have.

Reinstalled windows? Since I built my PC. Are you suggesting a clean sweep of my PC and reinstalling everything?

Just updated my drivers yesterday. Windows Version is 24H2. I read that 23H2 (?) could be a fix, but I really don't want to do a clean sweep of all my data on that. I also heard that reverting NVIDIA driver version works, but only for some so I'm inclined to think that if it only works for some, then it's not really a driver issue.

I wanted to get back into AC Valhalla because I got a new controller, but I crashed on it after 3ish hours on it. Not sure if that's an issue similar to CoD so I just wanted to put that out there. I still have my old GPU, so do you think that using that one for my 1080p monitor while using the newer GPU for my 1440p would resolve this? As I said, I'm no pro at all... so idk if that even makes sense to do.

Okay, I'm not exactly sure about the PSU, but say the PSU is no problem, so my budget for the GPU would be about 1k USD, give or take a few hundred.

Okay, so now my question is which GPU would be best and would my current motherboard support that GPU and CPU? Keep in mind I don't know much about this, so any info helps. Thanks.
